Taiwan: Our Practice Site -- Dayuan Elementary School in Taoyuan County (Photo)

(Clearwisdom.net) The Dayuan Elementary School practice site is very close to Chiang Kai-shek International Airport and was established in December 2000. The practice site is located at the grandstand of the school's track field and thus is very easy to locate. Though airplanes fly over once in awhile with a thundering noise, the tranquil practitioners are never bothered by it.

Morning practice at the Dayuan Elementary School

Most practitioners at the site are workers in their 30s. The oldest practitioner, 76, is a chef working in another city. He comes to practice with others during his biweekly vacation time. He said that he practices and studies the Fa alone at work. He had a chronic pain in his shoulders and some other illnesses, however, all these disappeared after he practiced Falun Gong for a while. When encountering conflicts at work, he always takes them as opportunities to upgrade xinxing and never fights back. He said that he was so pleased to see his toddler grandson imitating the exercises.

At the practice site, there is a young mother. As her husband is very busy at work, she comes to practice at 4:40 a.m. until 6:10 a.m. Then she has to run back home to prepare breakfast for her two sons, send them off to school, and then go to work. After work, she needs to do chores, send the children to after school-study sessions and then pick them up, and work overtime when required. Though she is so busy, she still tries her best to set aside time to study the Fa and practice the exercises. People may wonder why she makes her life so tough. However, she feels very good. She said that she had severe women's diseases which were very painful. Her health has been constantly improving ever since she started to practice Falun Gong. Most importantly, from studying Zhuan Falun, she now understands that everything has a reason and that the "Fa" is very precious.

From 4:40 a.m. to 6:30 a.m. (or 6:40 a.m.), the practitioners first practice the fifth exercise, "Strengthening Divine Powers" for an hour and then the first exercise, "Buddha Showing a Thousand Hands." They then send righteous thoughts for 15 minutes. After this, they continue to do the second exercise, "Falun Standing Stance" (or the 3^rd and 4^th exercises). The practitioners do the rest of the exercises at their own convenience.

In Zhuan Falun, Master Li said, "...a complete system of both nature and longevity cultivation needs to have cultivation, and it needs to have exercises." The practitioners thus have group study and experience sharing every Saturday and Sunday morning from 6:10 to 7:20 a.m. Everyone is welcome to join them.
