(Clearwisdom.net) On August 5th and 6th, the ninth "Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance International Art Exhibition" was held at the Tama Center in Tokyo. As the event took place during the summer break for elementary and middle school students, there were a lot of people who came to view the exhibition and learn about Falun Gong and the persecution in China.

Practitioner volunteers guided visitors through the paintings and told them the true stories behind each artwork. Many were shocked by the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) grim atrocities. Upon seeing a painting which depicted a practitioner being tortured by evil policemen, one child was so angry that he wanted to pull the policemen out of the painting. Two middle school students listened to a practitioner's introduction. They then sincerely said that they were so lucky to live in Japan (a free society). When they were presented with bookmarks decorated with delicate paper lotus flowers, they said that they would like to learn how to make the flowers so that they could teach their classmates. So, the practitioners set up a table to teach visitors how to make folded paper lotus flowers.

Practitioners were very pleased to see so many people viewing the artworks and listening to the introductions attentively. After viewing the exhibition, many expressed their sincere appreciation to the practitioners.

Of course, there were also people who passed by in a hurry and had no interest in listening or reading; there were also people who came with questions: "Why would China persecute the practice? Isn't Falun Gong good?" Practitioners patiently explained the background of Falun Gong and the history of the persecution: from the evil nature of the communist party to its history of killing innocent citizens. Practitioners told them that the nature of the party determined its intolerance of a practice that promotes "Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance." After listening to the explanation, most visitors would then understand the persecution. Many of them expressed their support by telling the practitioners, "Keep up your good work."

The two-day exhibition soon drew to a conclusion. Many people came to view the artworks and learned the facts. The practitioners firmly believe that the persecution will soon be stopped, as more and more people are learning the truth.
