Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Qi Baizhi from the Fularji District, Qiqihar City had been put into a forced labor camp and tortured so severely that she is now blind. She also has difficulty walking. Ma Xiufeng, "610 Office" chief of the Meilisi District Police Department had arrested practitioner Qi Baizhi and put her into a detention center.

Practitioner Ms. Liu Xiaorong from Longhua County, Hebei Province has been persecuted many times. She is presently being held in the Hebei Province Women's Prison. She has been on a hunger strike since March 18, 2006, over four months already. Ms. Liu is presently suffering from severe heart disease.

Personnel from the Cuiyan Town Police Department and the head of the town arrested practitioner Mr. Zhang Tiecheng from Daiwang Village, Cuiyan Town, Linghai City from his home at around 2:00 p.m. on July 28, 2006. Mr. Zhang is presently being held at the city's detention center.

Practitioner Ms. Wang Chunhua from Guojiadian Town, Lishu County, Jilin Province was followed by someone after distributing truth-clarifying materials at around 5:00 a.m. on July 30, 2006. Police ransacked her home and her whereabouts are unknown.

Someone reported practitioner Ms. Wang Lanfen from the Ganjingzi District in Dalian City. The police arrested her the night of January 13, 2005. Wang Lanfen has been put been incarcerated in the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp for over one and a half years. Now she is suffering disease symptoms. Her weight has dropped from 50kg (110 1bs) to a little over 30kg (66 1bs). Family members requested her release, but personnel at the camp denied the request.

Practitioners Ms. Gu Fengzhi (63 years old) and Ms. Song Guixiang (52 years old) from Yumin Village were spotted on a surveillance camera while distributing truth-clarifying materials in a commercial building at 3:00 p.m. on June 11, 2006. They are now being held at the Mudanjiang City Detention Center.

Practitioners Ms. Zou Xiaoying and Luu Hengyi were arrested at the end of 2005 by police from Mudanjiang City and are still being held the detention center.

Personnel from the Bei'an Police Station and policemen from the Mudanjiang City National Security Team arrested practitioners Mr. Wei Jingkun and Ms. Sun Mingxia. It happened while they were distributing truth-clarifying materials and posting flyers on Bei'an Street on the afternoon of July 26, 2006. They were later sent to a detention center.

The police extorted 5,000 yuan from the practitioners' families. Later they still refused to release the practitioners with the excuse that their families paid the money too late; that they found some materials exposing the persecution in the police station and that they received some truth-clarifying phone calls. Wei Jingkun's wife has always been ill and their foster daughter is very young. The family is leading a very difficult life now.

11. [Linkou County, Heilongjiang Province] Practitioners Du Limei and Zang Qiaoling Arrested and Held at the Muling Detention Center

Personnel from the Nanshan Police Station arrested practitioners Ms. Du Limei and Ms. Zang Qiaoling, and savagely ransacked their homes. They confiscated a great deal of truth-clarifying materials from the two families.

Zang Qiaoling's husband doesn't know the truth of Falun Dafa and cooperated with the police in the persecution. He requested personnel from the police station to sentence his wife to forced labor. Du Limei's ex-husband went to the Nanshan Police Station to demand her release, but the head refused to release her and claimed to be sentencing her to forced labor.

Personnel from the Xinlicun District Police Station arrested practitioners Ms. Tan Hongjun (35 years old) and Ms. Zhou Lan (around 50 years old) from the Dongli District. It happened on July 28 while they were distributing truth-clarifying materials in the Xinlicun District. Police ransacked their homes at 10:00 p.m. that same day and confiscated some VCD's and other items. At present, they are being held at the Dongli District Police Department.

A neighbor reported practitioner Sheng Yanjun from Anda City on July 25, 2006. The practitioner was arrested at home for clarifying the truth about Falun Gong.

Practitioner Ms. Zhang Guizhi from Shandong Province, 27 years old, graduated from the Qingdao University of Science and Technology and works at the Dalian's Bingshan Plastic Machinery Co. Ltd. Internet special agent Wang Yi followed her when she was clarifying the truth on the Internet on September 22, 2005 in Dalian City. She is presently being held at the Yaojia Detention Center of Dalian City.

She didn't cooperate with lawless detention center police and was subsequently sentenced to three years of imprisonment. She appealed in early March of 2006, but the court rejected her appeal. She has been incarcerated for about a year.

Practitioner Fang Yuan from Botou City, Hebei Province was arrested more than three months ago and is still detained at the Nanpi County Detention Center. Policemen including National Security chief Zhao Dongsheng used all kinds of excuses to refuse and prohibit Fang Yuan's family visits.

During the morning of July 30, 2006 practitioner Ms. Yang Sumin from Liuzongpu Village, Lizhaozhuang Town, the Fengrun District and practitioner Ms. Guo Xiuying from Jiayanzhuang Village, Woluogu Town, Yutian County were reported to police. It happened as they were distributing truth-clarifying materials at Huigu Village, Fengtai Town in Ninghe County. Thus, local police arrested the two practitioners and then ransacked their homes. They confiscated some truth-clarifying materials, CDs and Dafa books and other belongings and sent the two to the Lutai Detention Center at around 7:00 p.m. that same day.

The Jinghai Court tried practitioners Mr. Ren Dongsheng, Chen Dianrong, Ms. Xu Fengyu, Zhai Shuqin and Wei Tongyun between 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. on June 27, 2006. They had been arrested in March 2006.

Shijiazhuang City's Xinhua District Court delivered a so-called indictment certificate to practitioner Ms. Dong Yunxiao on July 28, 2006. The specific time for the proposed trial has not yet been scheduled.

Personnel from the Anqiu City Police Department secretly arrested practitioner Ms. Zhao Lixi, in her 50s, from Shijiabu Village, Linwu Town, Anqiu City on July 22, 2006. During the morning of July 27, 2006 police arrived in four cars and arrested 38-year-old practitioner Ms. Qi Yanying and a 60-year-old practitioner. The practitioners' families went to seek their release, but the officers said that the practitioners had been sent to the Anqiu City Detention Center. When the families went to the detention center, the authorities there said that they had not seen the practitioners.

Practitioner Ms. Yang Xiurong from Qiujiahe Village, Wutu Town, Changle County, Weifang City who was working temporarily in the Huangdao District, Qingdao City was reported when clarifying the truth of Falun Gong. Personnel from the Huangdao District, Qingdao City arrested her and ransacked her home in June 2006. She was sentenced to 18 months of imprisonment in July 2006. Nobody knows where she is being held now.

Personnel from the "610 Office" and from the Qingdao Road Police Precinct in Laixi City arrested Ms. Hu Keling, in her 40s. Ms. Hu is a teacher at the Laixi City Experimental High School in Laixi City where she was arrested. The arrest, by agents from the "610 Office," happened the afternoon of July 13, 2006. She was taken to the Qingdao City Dashan Detention Center several days later where she went on a hunger strike to protest and was in critical condition. Nevertheless, she escaped with the power of her righteous thoughts.

Unfortunately, her escape prompted lawless agents to harass other practitioners with the excuse of "looking for Ms. Hu."

Personnel from the Xinxiang County Police Department arrested practitioner Mr. Fan Shengbin from Fanling Village, Hehe Township, Xinxiang County, Henan Province on July 12, 2006. They confiscated his computer, a printer and some truth-clarifying materials. Mr. Fan is presently being held at the Xinxiang County Detention Center.

Personnel from the "610 Office" at the Zhongyuan Oil Field Police Department arrested practitioner Ms. Zhang Guizhen, an employee of the oil field, her son Mr. Zhang Xianli, and her daughter Ms. Zhang Xiaojun. Police also ransacked their home and put them into the oil field's detention center.

Practitioner Ms. Shen Lichun, an employee of the Anhui Province Agriculture Research Institute had been sentenced to two years of forced labor for practicing Falun Gong. Policeman Wang Lu from Hefei City's "610 Office" secretly arrested her from her home on September 11, 2005, and sent her to a brainwashing class located at the Xinhua Hotel. The police tortured her and her lower back was severely injured. She suffered constant pain and vomited often. She couldn't eat regularly. The police prohibited her family's visits. Now she has been secretly sentenced to eight years of imprisonment.

Practitioner Mr. Bao Guizhen, from Xuzhou City, is a train attendant of group No.4 on the Yantai ¡V Guiyang route of the Xuzhou Railway Station. About July 14, when he was reading a Falun Dafa book, Liu Shixin, a policeman on the train, reported him. Around July 26, 2006, Mr. Bao was sent to Zibo City Brainwashing Class in Shandong Province. He has a one-year-old baby at home.

Wang Wanchun and other officers from the Shouguang City Police Department arrested practitioner Ms. Yin Qingyu on June 6, 2006. She was released that same night, but lawless policemen, including Chen Hu, Jitai Town Police Precinct chief often harassed her.

On July 27, when Yin Qingyu was working on her farmland, personnel from the Jitai Town Police Precinct arrested her again. After torturing her for a day, they sent her to the Shouguang City Police Department for further persecution, where she remains today.

Practitioner Ms. Liu Guixiang was illegally arrested from home at noon on July 25, 2006. Her whereabouts are unknown.

Policeman Guo Shudong from Wutu Town and some "610 Office" agents broke into practitioner Ms. Wang Yanhua's house and arrested Ms. Wang's mother, practitioner Ms. Liu, at noon on July 26, 2006. Ms. Liu is currently locked up at the Changle Detention Center.

Practitioner Mr. Ma Tongshun, over 70 years old, has been detained by agents from the Kuitun City Police Department many times for clarifying the truth of Falun Gong. On May 19, 2005, Kuitun City Court sentenced Mr. Ma to three years of imprisonment with fabricated charges.

Practitioner Ms. Jiang Subi from Yingshan County went to the Taipeng Mountain Area in Yingshan County to clarify the truth to people. Many had gathered there to celebrate the birthday of the Goddess of Mercy on March 18, 2006. Agents from the county "610 Office" illegally arrested her and have detained since then. Prior to this, Jiang Subi had been arrested several times. Her family has had thousands of yuan extorted from them.

Practitioner Mr. Hu Dawei is from Haicheng City. Agents from the National Security Team from the Dongchang District Police Department in Tonghua County brought him back to the county from another province on June 23, 2005. They put him into the county's Kuaida Detention Center for eight months. In February 2006 he was secretly sentenced to 11 years of imprisonment and sent to the Shiling Prison in Siping City, Jilin Province between March 1 and 3, 2006.

Practitioner Mr. Zhou Huisheng is from Ganwang Town, Haicheng City. He suffered a cerebral hemorrhage brought on by brutal torture in the Anshan City Forced Labor Camp. His family was told to take him home on July 26, 2006. He is in critical condition.

Personnel from the Ganwang Police Station had arrested him and put him into Anshan City Forced Labor Camp for two years.

Currently, practitioners Ms. Wang Chunya, Mr. Zhang Jia'an, and Mr. Zhang Zhenwei are still being persecuted.
