Our Group Exercise Site: Puren Elementary School in Jhongli City, Taoyuan County, Taiwan

(Clearwisdom.net) The playing field of Puren Elementary School, in Jhongli City, Taoyuan County, Taiwan, is open to the public. Many adults and children play ball or jog there every day.

The Falun Gong group exercise site at Puren Elementary School was set up in February 2002. Practitioners go there to do the exercises between 4:50 a.m. and 6:10 a.m. every day. Many citizens who get up early see the banner--"Falun Dafa is good" every day.

Mr. Gao, a Falun Gong practitioner, said that his health and temperament were greatly improved after he started practicing Falun Gong. His family life became more harmonious. He asked himself: "Why don't I help more people know about this good cultivation practice by setting up an exercise site and doing the exercises outside in public?" So, he started the exercise site at Puren Elementary school.

Mr. Gao works at a water factory. Somebody brought a copy of Zhuan Falun to his office, and he read the book three times. He felt that the principles Master Li explained in Zhuan Falun are very pure and righteous. He learned how to treat conflicts as a cultivator. The principles in the book answered many questions he had had. So he began cultivation practice.

Mr. Gao always tries to treat all the conflicts he encounters in daily life according to the principle of "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." Last year, his company gave evaluations to every employee. All of his co-workers were evaluated as "Excellent," but he only got a "Good." Since he had been working very hard, many people, including his supervisor, didn't think it was fair, and they suggested that he complain to the leaders of the company.

Mr. Gao said that after practicing Falun Gong, he has learned that everybody has his own fate. If he complains and therefore gets an "Excellent," it may cause another person to end up with a "Good," and then he would owe that person. He told his co-worker that a cultivator doesn't care about personal benefit, and he would even work harder.

Last September, Mr. Gao's workplace rewarded him and another person as "Excellent Model Workers." Last October, he was evaluated as "Excellent." This manifests Falun Dafa's principle of "Gaining naturally without pursuit."

The change in Mr. Gao encouraged Mrs. Gao to start cultivation. Before, Mr. Gao always tried to stop Mrs. Gao from going back to visit at her parents' house, because when she was gone, nobody would be there to cook for him. But now, he thinks of this issue from her point of view. He sometimes goes to her parents' house with her. Changes like this in Mr. Gao moved Mrs. Gao and made her curious about Falun Gong. So she also started practicing.

After the exercise site was set up, some citizens came to learn the exercises. An old gentleman told Mr. Gao that the exercise music was very beautiful, which made him want to learn the practice.

Falun Gong taught Mr. Gao and many others the principles of life. He hopes that more people will join them to experience the beauty of Falun Gong and practice cultivation so as to return to their original, true selves.
