Saskatchewan, Canada: Clarifying the Truth at the Regina Folk Festival (Photo)

(Clearwisdom.net) Located in the prairies of western Canada, Regina is a city with a population of about 200,000. There are very few Chinese people here, but the number has been increasing in recent years, including Chinese students. During August 11 to 13, Falun Dafa practitioners of Regina participated in the annual Regina Folk Festival.

Many residents approached Falun Gong practitioners to ask about the practice and why the Chinese Communist Party wants to persecute Falun Gong. After they learn the truth, people sign their names on a petition letter to the Parliament.

Teaching Falun Gong exercises

A group of high school students learned the truth and expressed their displeasure with the Chinese Communist government. They signed their names and then called other friends to come and sign. A young mother came with a girl about 4 or 5 years old. She listened to our truth clarification patiently and reminded the little girl to listen from time to time. After hearing the truth, she immediately signed her name and took some fliers. The little girl said, "Mom, I want to sign too."

A grandmother signed her name first and then listened to us. When she heard that a group of honest people are being tortured and murdered by the Chinese Communist Party, she was in tears. Three teachers from a local college came to learn about the truth of the persecution. One of them said he couldn't understand why the CCP world persecute such a peaceful exercise group. Another one immediately said it was because the CCP was so afraid that people will think freely.

After sunset, in order to provide some more lighting, the practitioners set up their hand-made lotus flower lanterns. The flower lanterns attracted many visitors. One visitor signed her name but continued to study the lotus flower lanterns and didn't want to leave. A practitioner understood her and gave an extra lantern to her. When the visitors learned that all materials were free and funded by volunteer practitioners, they expressed their respect.
