Falun Gong vigil is a necessary outlet for truth

Re: City seeking injunction to remove Falun Gong shack, signs from front of Chinese consulate, Aug. 12

It would be a sad mis-step for the City of Vancouver to force the dismantling of the Falun Gong protest site. Truth has all too few outlets.

The continuing vigil speaks not only for the silenced in China: It reveals our shimmering Vancouver as a city that is not all curves and legs, but beauty with a soul.
