Dafa Practitioners Hung Up and Beaten in a Restaurant Attic by Police in Panzhihua City, Sichuan Province

(Clearwisdom.net) At around 1 o'clock on November 24, 2005, a group of police officers headed by Qiu Tianming and Sun Luning, arrested four Dafa practitioners, including Yao Jiaxiu, Li Daizhen, Xiao Huizai and You Yuanzhang, at Qingxiangping Square. During the arrest, You Yuanzhang shouted, "The bad guys are arresting the good people." The policemen immediately held him to the floor, handcuffed him and brought him to the National Protection Division Team of the 610 Office. Other police involved in the persecution of You Yuanzhang were Zou Yongjun and Duan Qing. You Yuanzhuang's house was illegally broken into and ransacked on the same afternoon.

On their way to the Yanbian Detention Center, You Yuanzhang started shouting "Falun Dafa is good!" in the car. Police Sun Luning and Huang Jianjun immediately stuffed a dirty towel used for car washing into his mouth. You's tooth was knocked out. The police covered You's head with a piece of black cloth.

Dafa practitioners began singing "Falun Dafa is good" when they reached the entrance of the Wanyaoshu Detention Center. Practitioner Yao Jiaxiu was then brutally beaten about the chest by a police officer and she landed heavily on the floor.

At around 9:00 a.m. on December 1, the police covered You Yuanzhang's eyes with a piece of black cloth and took him out of Yanbian Detention Center. You was brought to their "nest"- the attic of Jingu Restaurant (estimated at the seventh floor) where he was handcuffed to the windows, with only the tip of his toes touching the ground. Sun Luning and Huang Jianjun took turns slapping You Yuanzhang in the face. If You's toes were to touch the ground, he would be given a hard kick to his body, and when he refused to respond to a set-up that the policemen devised, the police would immediately raise the height of the cuffing, lifting the tip of his toes to 10 cm. (4 in.) off the ground.

In order to torture You, Sun Luning held him between his arms and jerked him down, causing the handcuff to sink into his skin until it reached his bones. You fainted from the piercing pain. Then the perpetrators poured ice-cold water on You's face, and lifted up his eyelids to check if he was dead. You was finally released from the hanging position after a long time. When he finally regained his consciousness, he found himself lying on the floor. The police said to him, "If you don't give in, after your hands become handicapped, we'll hang you from your feet."

It was not until 4:00 p.m., when You Yuanzhang was tortured until he was half-conscious, did he unknowingly give in to their demands. It was already night when You Yuanzhang had returned to the detention center. His eyes were always covered by a piece of black cloth while traveling in and out of the detention center. You Yuanzhang's left fingers were numb for more than four months. Even though they recovered, the scars can still be seen.

The attic of Jingu Restaurant is a den of evil for persecuting Dafa practitioners. All there is in the attic is a wooden stool with abraded wood and paint, while the metal surface of the protecting fence is shiny. A lot of other Dafa practitioners, including Xu Langzhou and Chen Heqiong, have all been brutally persecuted there.

Furthermore, Dafa practitioner Feng Zhongliang (in his forties) from Panzhihua City, was illegally incarcerated and persecuted in the detention center for six months for clarifying the truth at his workplace. After he was released, his company forced him to work in the depot, and has yet to award him his salary. During the illegal detention, his family was cheated out of many thousands of dollars by a lawyer.
