(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Li Jiaju from Huangni Township, Yongxing County, Hunan Province is in her 50s. She started practicing Falun Dafa in 1997. Various agents from different levels of government had detained her after the persecution began on July 20, 1999. She was also abused at a labor camp and prison. She spent four Chinese New Years inside prisons and labor camps.

On October 21, 2005, a practitioner went to Changsha Women's Prison in Hunan Province to visit two daughters incarcerated there. Li Jiaju accompanied the practitioner. They clarified the truth and distributed truth clarification materials to the guards at the reception room. The prison authorities immediately detained them. Li Jiaju was sent once again to a detention center in Yongxing County, and held there the next day.

Following several months of abuse under the persecution, in January 2006 Li Jiaju was again sent to the Baimalong Labor Camp in Zhuzhou City. She upheld her belief and held a long-term hunger strike to protest. She is extremely weak and her life is in danger.
