Belgium: Exposing the CCP's Crimes in Brussels' Chinatown (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On July 9 2006, Belgian Falun Gong practitioners held activities in Chinatown, Brussels to support over eleven million people quitting the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and to expose the CCP's crimes of organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners.

At the same time, a large-scale photo exhibition was displayed. The exhibited photos depicted Chinese Falun Gong practitioners being subjected to persecution. There were also practitioners distributing leaflets and introducing to people the investigation reports made by a Canadian independent investigation team exposing and verifying the CCP's organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners.

After listening to the practitioners' introduction, many passers-by were shocked by the facts of the persecution. A young couple spent a long period of time attentively viewing the displayed photos and made detailed inquires about why the persecution happened, where it happened and what Falun Gong was. After listening to the practitioners' explanation, the young couple asked for truth-clarifying material and expressed their thanks and their disapproval of the persecution.

People were shocked by the facts of the persecution

A young lady walked toward the practitioners and asked where she could sign the petition to call for an end to the persecution. After reading the leaflets, a man asked for more copies of the leaflets for his friends. A young couple living in a building opposite the site of our activities came to the practitioners' stand to ask for leaflets, telling the practitioners, "You are doing a good job. Please keep doing it."

The overseas Chinese living in Belgium are also concerned about the persecution. Many of them took the initiative to look for new leaflets as they had read the previous ones. Some of them expressed their disapproval of the CCP and their opposition to the CCP's wrongdoing. A middle-aged Chinese man said that he had a clear understanding of the CCP's evildoing and believed that the persecution of Falun Gong was actually happening in China. He also said that he often uploaded articles to Web sites to positively support Falun Gong.

Chinatown is located in the center of Brussels. Some of the practitioners brought copies of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party to the Grand-Place in Brussels, telling the Chinese visitors the facts of the persecution. One of the practitioners, said that the Nine Commentaries was welcomed by the Chinese visitors. The practitioners also clarified the truth to an owner of a chocolate store. The store owner said that he had already understood the facts from TV reports and agreed to display truth-clarifying materials in his store.

Another practitioner distributed copies of the Nine Commentaries to a group of Chinese visitors and found that they came from Taiwan. One of the Taiwanese visitors introduced himself as a college professor, and said he had already used the Nine Commentaries as teaching materials in his class.

Many visitors raised the thumbs up sign to wish the practitioners success. There were still many other little stories of the activities. The practitioners present shared their experiences with tourists and expressed their determination to keep telling people the facts of the persecution.
