Notice To Practitioners in the Anping Area on Rescuing Fellow Practitioners

(Clearwisdom.net) In 2005, many Falun Gong practitioners from our area sent forth righteous thoughts in close proximity to a prison in an attempt to rescue practitioner Ms. Xie Xiugai. It was a good effort aimed at achieving good cooperation amongst practitioners. It also reinforced our resolve to rescue fellow practitioners. Although we were not able to rescue her, our "xinxing" was revealed during the process of working together.

Our experience should have made clear to us our inadequacies, and motivated us to improve and cooperate with each other better. It should have helped us to form One Body, so that we would improve together and truly deny all of the old forces' arrangements. However, some practitioners decided that there was nothing more they could do since they felt that Xie Xiugai did not want to be released and rescued. They saw it as her personal problem. Some practitioners felt frustrated and defeated when we could not rescue her. Those who didn't participate in the rescue attempt began to complain, "So many practitioners went to the prison area to send forth righteous thoughts. Imagine the transportation expense! The money could have been used to make a lot of truth-clarification materials." Aren't these all human thoughts? Nevertheless, this was our first step towards cooperating with each other as one body.

Teacher said, "When they get out, how will you bear to face them? What have you done for them?" ("My Version of a 'Stick Wake-up'")I think we cooperated with each other well at that time, except that we need to improve our understanding of cooperative actions. We must really want to rescue the practitioner from deep within. We must disintegrate all of the old forces' arrangements, persevere in sending forth righteous thoughts and be determined in what we are trying to accomplish. In this instance, we failed to meet our goal.

In July 2006 a fellow practitioner visited Xie Xiugai's family. The family said, "Xie Xiugai is heartless. She won't see anyone. [If that's what she wants] we won't go visit her any more." The practitioner refused to believe what she heard. After all, it has been nearly five years that Xie Xiugai was imprisoned. How could she possibly not want to see her own family? The practitioner felt that there must be an explanation and that we had to get to the bottom of it.

The practitioner talked Xie Xiugai's family into going to visit her together. At first they talked to several different prison guards, but none of them would let them see Ms. Xie. The family decided to give up and said, "I think we should leave. There is no point wasting our time here; we may miss the last bus home." The practitioner refused to give up. While she was encouraging Xie Xiugai's family to stay, she kept sending forth righteous thoughts. Because of the practitioner's determination and righteous thoughts, Xie Xiugai's family developed righteous thoughts. They condemned the prison guards and insisted on seeing Ms. Xie. Finally, one of the guards made an internal call. During the phone conversation with Ms. Xie, they learned that the truth was not at all what they had been told earlier.

They learned that Xie Xiugai refused to cooperate with any directions from the guards. She took off the prison uniform, tore it and threw it out of the window. She refused to take anything forced upon her by the guards. That was the reason why the guards had lied to her family saying, "It is Xie Xiugai that does not want to see you. Don't come here any more. She won't see you even if you come again. We cannot force her to see you." The guards had tried to put a psychological block between Xie Xiugai and her family. Her family said, "How will we be able to see her if she won't see us?"

One of Xie Xiugai's family members is also a Falun Gong practitioner. She was desperate to see her, so she told Ms. Xie, "I must see you today. Why don't you put on the inmate's uniform so that we can see you?" Xiugai responded, "I would be admitting that I am a criminal if I wear the inmate's uniform! I didn't commit any crime or do anything wrong. There is nothing wrong with trying to become a better person." Faced with Xie Xiugai's righteous thoughts and righteous actions, her family realized that they had compromised. She had spoken righteously and not given in to the evil's demands. Her family was assisting the evil in committing crimes! Righteous thoughts and righteous actions are not just slogans; they are built upon a long period of solid Fa study. At this pivotal moment, how could we side with the evil in our thoughts? Our fellow practitioner had reached the state where she could deny the old forces' arrangements and she had done it well. The success of her rescue depends on whether fellow practitioners outside the prison are able to become one body. We need to elevate as one body and reach the standard of One Body. Perhaps Xie Xiugai has been suffering because we failed to do well.

A fellow practitioner in another area once said, "Regardless of the cultivation state of the imprisoned fellow practitioners, those of us on the outside of the prison must bring them out, even if it means that we have to fly them out with our righteous thoughts!" That practitioner had been involved in successfully rescuing several fellow practitioners. Do we in the Anping area have such strong righteous thoughts and steadfast faith in Teacher and the Fa?

When demanding to see Xiugai, even the prison guard told us, "You are not insistent enough in your rescue efforts; otherwise, she would have been released a long time ago." They added, "Xie Xiugai refuses to admit that she is a criminal. If her family refuses to cooperate with us, then we won't be able to do our job. If you also refuse to acknowledge that she has committed any crime, you may appeal in a court of law." Wasn't Teacher trying to hint to us to reinforce our righteous thoughts?

Now that we have exposed the lies of the evil guards, we understand that our fellow practitioner refused to cooperate with the evil or wear the prison uniform, even at the expense of not being able to see her family. It is not that Xie Xiugai does not want to see her fellow practitioners. She knew it would not be long until she could see us. She even encouraged those of us outside the prison walls to completely deny all of the old forces' arrangements. It is not that she did not wish to reunite with her family. She is a Dafa practitioner, assisting Teacher in the Fa-rectification. Even from prison, she has been validating the sacred Fa, disintegrating the evil's arrangements and fulfilling her prehistoric pledge.

We must not be indifferent any longer. We must not wait any longer. We must not forget to send forth righteous thoughts any longer. As long as we improve together, persist in sending forth righteous thoughts and take tangible rescue actions, we will be able to rescue our fellow practitioners one after another from behind the prison walls.

Teacher said, "When Dafa disciples do things together, you should really cooperate well with each other. The changes in the overall state of things have been large. You have seen that many things still face obstacles, but once all of those obstacles are done away with, this affair will end." ("Teaching the Fa at the Fa Conference at the U.S. Capital")

Let's join our minds together so that we can destroy and disintegrate the evil and save sentient beings. I have faith that we will be able to rescue each one of our fellow practitioners.
