By a practitioner in Peru

(Clearwisdom.net) Since the disclosure of the organ removal from living Falun Gong practitioners in China last March, practitioners in Peru have exposed the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) crimes to the government and people in all circles, displaying poster boards and collecting signatures and letters of support. The following are some of the activities we practitioners have undertaken.

Practitioners gather every Friday afternoon on Plaza Italia in Lima, the capital of Peru, to introduce Falun Dafa. With the permission of the city government, practitioners set up posters exposing the persecution of Falun Gong and banners calling for an end to the persecution. We also distribute truth-clarification flyers and other materials supporting withdrawals from the CCP to people in cars and people passing by. Some practitioners demonstrate the five sets of Falun Gong exercises during these activities.

People are shocked at the organ harvesting atrocities, and all condemn such barbarities. Kind-hearted people sign a petition calling for an end to the persecution. Practitioners meet many people who understand the facts and who understand that the CCP will collapse upon itself. Some tell us they will ask their family members to sign and support us.

There is a school besides the square. The children came to look at the posters with their parents after school and asked to sign the petition like their parents.

Before the general presidential election in Peru this year, practitioners wrote to the leaders of each party to expose the organ harvesting, asking them to recognize the CCP's true nature. On election day, many people publicly gather, so practitioners took advantage of the opportunity and distributed truth-clarification flyers to the leaders of opposition parties, business leaders, and political leaders.

After the election, the Falun Dafa Association of Peru sent congratulatory letters to newly elected President Alan Garcia Perez and 120 Members of Parliament. In the letter, we introduced Falun Gong and the current plight of Falun Gong in China and called on them all to pay attention to and help stop the organ harvesting crimes.

July 28 this year was the 185th anniversary of Peru's independence, a national holiday. On July 22, the biggest Chinese grocery store, Supermarket E. Wong, held a community celebration parade in the oceanside suburb of Miraflores. People came out in crowds. Practitioners distributed flyers to the spectators. Many people said, "I saw this online. I support you." Some said excitedly after accepting the flyers, "This is Falun Gong. I've been looking for you."

On July 29, a grand parade celebrating Independence Day was held in Lima. Many people began to line the streets overnight, wanting to be sure to get a good spot to see the parade. We practitioners took the opportunity and arrived at the parade route at 5 a.m. and distributed flyers to people and the police. We also distributed 400 colorful balloons printed with "Falun Dafa is good," and "The world needs Truth-Compassion-Tolerance" in Chinese and Spanish.

To call for an end of the brutal killing of Falun Gong practitioners in China, we gathered signatures on a petition. We collected 4,325 signatures on a total of 173 pages and sent a copy of the signatures to the Asociacion Pro Derechos Humanos (a Peruvian pro-human rights association) and the Peruvian National Human Rights Coordinator. We also sent a letter, information about the organ harvesting atrocities, a Falun Gong truth-clarification DVD, the independent Canadian "Report into Allegations of Organ Harvesting of Falun Gong Practitioners in China," and the "Nine Communities on the Communist Party".

We also sent a set of these materials to many influential people in the media, such as TV and radio hosts, newspaper publishers and editors, and others. We hope that they will all come to understand China's current situation and the CCP's true nature.

We will continue to collect petition signatures until the end of the brutal persecution.
