Ms. Li Wenzhen Dies After Suffering a Mental Collapse in a Brainwashing Center

(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Li Wenzhen lived in Zhongtong Town, Huazhou City (under Maoming City), Guangdong Province. She suffered a mental collapse and her life was in danger because of being tortured in a brainwashing class. Ms. Li died in June 2006, when she fell into water.

Ms. Li Wenzhen started cultivating Falun Dafa in 1998, and her heart disease and other issues were cured after she began the practice.

On July 20, 1999, the vile Chinese Communist Party (CCP) began persecuting Falun Gong. Ms. Li Wenzhen was illegally arrested on April 28, 2000 when she went to Beijing to clarify the truth. She was detained for more than twenty days in the Huazhou City Detention Center, and then was sent to the Zhongtong Town Police Station together with other practitioners. The police officers took turns watching over them. Ms. Li's family was severely harassed, causing her husband to divorce her. Their two young children are now left with no one to take care of them.

Because Ms. Li Wenzhen always believed in Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, and never gave up cultivating Falun Dafa, at the end of 2001, the Huazhou City 610 Office sent her to go through forced brainwashing in the Maoming City "Legal Education School." There she endured inhuman mental and physical tortures.

In this evil brainwashing center, all sorts of torture means have been used on Falun Dafa practitioners. Practitioners were forced to do "military training" outside, and were beaten if they failed to follow each command. Almost all of the practitioners in the class have been tortured by being hung up by their handcuffs, even Mr. Chen Binggang, who was over 70 years old. Another practitioner, Mr. Shen Yuanxiong, was near 70 years old, and he was also hung by his handcuffs and beaten many times.

In February 2004, Ms. Li Wenzhen showed signs of a mental collapse, and her life was in danger, so she was sent home. She was very weak upon returning home, and her nervous breakdown worsened severely. Ms. Li drowned in June 2006 after she fell into water.
