Mr. Chen Chunlin from Anda City Tortured in Daqing City Prison

Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Chen Chunlin, a resident of Anda City, Heilongjiang Province, was sentenced to seven years in prison in 2001, and he was taken to the Harbin City Prison. In 2004, he was transferred to the Daqing City Prison where he has since been detained.

On September 20, 2002, Mr. Chen Chunlin was placed in a small cell (1) in the Harbin City Prison. The guards ordered two criminals to beat and curse Mr. Chen. They humiliated him, deprived him of sleep, and poured cold water on him. On March 15, 2004, evil guard Chai Jiatao (male), from Harbin City Prison locked Mr. Chen in solitary confinement and deprived him of sleep. He also arranged prisoners to watch him and insult him. The second night, prisoners Zhang Xuefeng (male), Sun Xiubo (male) and Yu Lei (male) put Mr. Chen on a large bed, where Mr. Chen was excruciatingly tortured. On March 17, 2004, after Mr. Chen had a physical test and was sent back to the sickroom, prisoners ordered by the evil guards stripped his clothes, poured cold water on him, and opened the window to let him freeze. They also beat and kicked him for three to four hours. He was then put on the bed and tortured more brutally. They gripped his testicles and pressured his eyeballs with their fingers. Prisoners were then ordered by policeman Chai Jiatao to beat Mr. Chen. On March 19, 2004, when Mr. Chen was tortured until he was so disabled he couldn't walk, he was placed in a small cell by Chai Jiatao, and he was locked to a metal ring on the ground. He was allowed to come out 19 days later. His injuries left many scars on his body which are still very clearly visible. On May 12, 2005, Mr. Chen Chunlin was locked in a cell in the Fifth Ward of Daqing City Prison. The prisoners who accompanied and watched him forced-fed Mr. Chen with the louses and nits from their bodies. On July 27, 2006, Mr. Chen was placed in a small cell and was tortured there because he did not want to wear the prison uniform.

Note:

(1) Small cell - The detainee is locked up in a very small cell individually. The guards handcuff practitioner behind his back in a fixed position, in which the practitioner can neither move nor lie down. The small cell is very damp and no sunshine comes in. Detainees have to urinate and defecate in the cell. Only half of a regular meal is served to detainees locked up in a small cell during the daytime. During the night rats run about. The stench in the small cell is so bad that it is difficult to breathe.
