Ms. Zhou Feiyan on Trial at Yuelu District Court in Changsha City

On July 29, 2006, Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Zhou Feiyan was secretly put on trial at Yuelu District Court in Changsha City, Hunan Province. Ms. Zhou was sentenced to three years in prison. Ms. Zhou resisted the unreasonable mistreatment to which she was subjected. Now Ms. Zhou Feiyan is appealing to the Changsha City Middle Court and is requesting an immediate, unconditional release. To avoid having the illegal action exposed, officers did not notify Ms. Zhou's family of the trial. The result of the trial was not known by her family members until a couple of days later.
