(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Su Fengqin, 64-years-old, from Diaobingshan City, Liaoning Province was illegally sentenced to five years in prison. The prison refused to accept her because of her poor physical condition, and yet the Qingyuan County Detention Center refused to release her. Su Fengqin went on a hunger strike on August 2, 2006. She is currently very weak and is receiving IV infusions. Dafa practitioners and justice-loving people: please pay attention to this emergency and try to rescue her!
Su Fengqin used to suffer from rheumatoid arthritis, enlarged lymph nodes of the neck, and amnesia. She was very weak and could not even walk a mile. She took all kinds of Chinese and Western medicines, as well as alternative medicines. Her home used to resemble a drugstore warehouse. Ms. Su was not a very brave person, but she nevertheless tried folk treatments such as drinking alcohol in which snakes and bugs had been soaked, but she didn’t feel any improvement. She also had to go to different hospitals to get her medications, because under the Chinese system, the government covers her health insurance, but the amount of medications she could receive from any single hospital was limited. She got so many injections at hospitals that the muscles on her buttocks had hardened, necessitating frequent application of hot towels before getting another injection. After years of hard work, Ms. Su developed new illnesses such as high blood pressure and heart disease. She cried and worried she would become permanently disabled. But then she became extremely fortunate.
After Su Fengqin started to practice Falun Gong in 1996, all of her illnesses disappeared without her taking a single pill. Her memory improved and she became energetic. She took great care of her children, who no longer had to worry about her health. Her family was grateful that Dafa saved her so she could live a happy life in her old age.
The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and Jiang Zemin started the brutal persecution of Falun Gong in July 1999, jealous of Falun Gong’s popularity. Su Fengqin clarified the truth about Falun Gong to the world’s people, risking arrest and torture.
Wang Xingchuan, former head of Qingyuan County National Security Division, and other officers illegally arrested Su Fengqin in the Hubian Neighborhood District of Fushun City on September 13, 2005. She was taken to the Qingyuan County Detention Center and was savagely beaten for shouting, "Falun Dafa is good." The police covered her head and stuffed her into a car and knocked out two of her front teeth in the process. They sentenced her to five years in prison.
Su Fengqin was deprived of her right to study the Falun Gong books or do the Falun Gong exercises. She suffered a relapse of high blood pressure and heart disease, which had previously been cured through Dafa cultivation.
The Qingyuan County Detention Center tried twice to send Ms. Su to the Dabei Prison, but the prison authorities refused to accept her because of her weak condition. However, the detention center refused to release her. Su Fengqin went on a hunger strike on August 2, 2006 to protest the illegal detention and was force-fed on August 7. It was learned on August 15, 2006, that the force-feeding could not continue due to her precarious condition. Ms. Su is now receiving IV infusions and is very weak. Her condition is life threatening.
