(Clearwisdom.net) Mr. Wang Jiji, 67 years old, was a worker at the Electric Engine Factory in the Mine Business Bureau of Jixi City in Heilongjiang Province. He lived in Yuejinwei in the Jiquan area of Jixi City. Mr. Wang and his family have faced frequent persecution because of their firm belief in Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance. On February 2, 2004, Wang Jiji died at home after suffering from the relentless persecution by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) authorities.

Mr. Wang started to practice Falun Dafa in 1998. After the persecution started in 1999, both his wife and daughter were illegally arrested and detained at the Public Security Bureau many times.

On 2001, the head of the 610 Office Cui Wanyi forced Mr. Wang to sign on a printed document (three identical copies) by claiming that the signature would improve the relationship between the main contact people of Falun Gong and the police department. They also lied, saying that there was a requirement to have "guarantee letters" from his family and work place as a condition to release him. When they found out that Wang Jiji could not write, the head of the 610 Office forged a signature for him. After Mr. Wang was deceived, they mocked him.

On March of 2002, the police from the Nanxing Police Department arrested three members of Mr. Wang's family. After confronting and stopping his third daughter on the main street, policeman Li Shengli struck her down and sat on top of her. He screamed at her, "Tell me where you have been!" This brutality attracted many people who gathered around. The other five police officers involved in this incident included policewoman Jiaoyang and Sun Yang from the Public Security Bureau of the Jiguan area. The police beat and arrested the family, and confiscated their belongings, which caused tremendous pain to Mr. Wang.

The authorities forcibly detained Wang Jiji's two daughters at the labor camp in Heilongjiang to persecute them. While the third daughter was refused by the labor camp, the second daughter was illegally sentenced to three years at the labor camp. During this period of time, since his wife and two daughters were detained at the same time, Mr. Wang had to take on the heavy responsibility of cooking for four schoolchildren and taking care of two households. However, the police from the Nanxing Police Department kept harassing, threatening, and monitoring his family. This brought about a steady deterioration of Mr. Wang's physical and mental health.

Wang Jiji passed away on February 2nd, 2004, after enduring this long-term persecution. His two daughters who were illegally detained didn't even get the chance to say goodbye to their father.
