British Columbia, Canada: Car Tour Continues on Vancouver Island (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On August 17-18, 2006, practitioners from Victoria, Canada, travelled the final leg of the B.C. Car Tour to expose the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) atrocities of live organ harvesting of Falun Gong practitioners.

In one city, a Chinese woman came up and took many materials off the table, including a copy of the Nine Commentaries. She had not heard of it, and said she would read it. Another woman, walking very slowly, was attracted by the exhibit. She said that she was having severe back pain and was on the way to the store for medication when she found us. At a practitioner’s suggestion, she happily learned the exercises and got some relief from the pain.

The media was present at each stop of the tour. A reporter from a TV station in one town was very business-like and impersonal when he first arrived. He talked for a while to a practitioner, asked a lot of questions, and then said he would film an interview after taking some footage of the display and of the practitioners who were doing the exercises. After the interview, he turned off the camera and his whole demeanour had changed. He spoke from the heart, and said he was shocked that something so vile could be happening in this day and age.

"I had no idea that this terrible atrocity has been going on in China," he said. "I hope it will be brought to an end soon."

A woman who worked at the City Hall in that town came out to greet us and said she was very appreciative that we had come. She thanked us for working so hard to expose the organ harvesting and the persecution.
