(Clearwisdom.net) The woman in the following story started to practice Falun Dafa in 1996. She recovered from many illnesses, and her whole life improved. Her husband headed up a very important department. He saw the great changes that occurred in his wife, and greatly admired Dafa. Moreover, some of his colleagues, including some who were in similar positions as his, became steadfast practitioners. They introduced Dafa to many people. Her husband read lots of Dafa books and told everyone Falun Dafa is good, although he wasn't a practitioner.

In 1999, when the persecution began, this practitioner became very afraid. She feared her husband would be implicated; she feared her sons and her daughters-in-law would be implicated (her two sons and daughters in law were all in deputy head positions); she feared she would be arrested and suffer torture, etc. In conclusion, she began to fear everything, and gradually forgot her cultivation.

There are two practitioners in her husband's department. One was in the deputy head position before his retirement. Another was in the head position before his retirement. They are her husband's colleagues and had practiced with her. When they saw her situation, they were very worried. They shared with her and sent her Teacher's new articles and the Minghui Weekly Newsletter. She and her husband quit the CCP. However, she still didn't study the Fa or practice, nor did she go out to clarify the truth.

At the beginning of April 2006, she suddenly felt uncomfortable, finding it difficult to breathe. She immediately went to a hospital for a check-up. After her diagnosis, she learned she suffered from an advanced case of lung cancer. When her husband and her sons heard this, they were very upset. The doctor said she could not be operated on, but could only undergo chemotherapy, after which, her life expectancy might be only three months to half a year. But after only one chemotherapy treatment, she suffered nausea, vomiting, vertigo, and headaches and began losing her hair.

The two practitioners in her husbands department realized they should help her, so they both went to the hospital for a visit. They first talked to her husband, who was very upset. They said, "There is another way, she could start to practice Falun Gong again. There will be a miracle if she steadfastly keeps righteous thoughts." They gave him some true stories to read, about two patients with incurable diseases, who recovered after practicing Falun Gong. Immediately, his worries disappeared.

They then went to see her and said: "You are very clear about your disease. Neither an operation nor chemotherapy will work. There is no use depending on the hospital now. Actually, your disease is not real. It looks very bad but you can transform that to a good thing. If you can give up trying to cure your illness and cultivate Dafa, and do well the three things Teacher requires of us, there will be a miracle." This practitioner said feebly: "I am so weak. Will Teacher take care of me?" They replied: "Teacher is compassionate and cherishes everyone. Teacher doesn't want to let even one practitioner fall behind. The end of the Fa-rectification period is nearly over. You can believe in chemotherapy or you can assist Teacher in rectifying the Fa. We hope you will think about it and make a decision." Later, they explained some of their understandings based on the Fa to encourage her. Her mental state was suddenly greatly improved. She decided to check out of the hospital and go back to studying the Fa and practicing. The two practitioners admonished her daughters-in-law saying: "You must cooperate well with your mother. Support her in practicing Falun Gong. Remember to say, "Falun Dafa is good. And treat Falun Dafa practitioners compassionately. Don't believe the CCP's slander and lies." They said: "As long as my mother recovers, we will say Falun Dafa is good every day." Those two practitioners urged them: "It is not enough to only say 'Falun Dafa is good.' You should respect our Teacher and the Fa from your heart." The practitioner who suffered lung cancer checked out of the hospital, moved in with her son and started to practice Falun Gong.

One week later, she recovered. Her voice was very cheerful on the phone. She was very excited to tell a practitioner: "Thanks Teacher Li.! Thanks Teacher Li! I recovered. I can eat and sleep. I am becoming better and better. My hair is growing back ." Several days later, practitioners went to see her and found her complexion had returned to normal, her eyes were sparking and her voice was cheerful. Moreover, her hair, which had become white due to the chemotherapy, was turning black again.

Witnessing her changes, her sons and daughters appreciated Teacher very much. On March 13^th, 2006, Teacher's birthday, the whole family greeted Teacher with very respectful and appreciative hearts.

Now, this practitioner clarifies the truth to everyone who visits her and persuades them to quit the CCP. Her sons and daughters-in-law quit the CCP; her grandchildren quit all the organizations related to the CCP, and some of her relatives and friends have also quit the CCP.
