At around 8:00 a.m. on July 11, 2006, three policemen from Gongrenxincun Police Station suddenly broke into the temporary residence of Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Chai Xiuying (age 73). They arrested four practitioners who were studying the Fa ¡V Mr. Zhang Wanwen (age 78), Ms. Sun Caiying (age 56), Ms. Chai Shixiu (age 70), and Ms. Chai Xiuying herself. They took four copies of Zhuan Falun, tapes of Master's lectures, and other Dafa books. In the afternoon, the practitioners were sent to the Jinchang City Smoking-relief Reformatory where they were detained for eight days. At 4:00 p.m. on July 11, policemen from Jinchuan District Police Department and Longshou District Police Department in Jinchang City ransacked Ms. Sun Caiying's house. On July 13, 2006, Ms. Chai Xiuying and Ms. Chai Shixiu were released and picked up by their family members.

Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Xu Hanming, 63, lives at Room Jia-404, #32-329 Lane, Xinhua Road, Changning District. She is a retired teacher of the Yan'anxi Street Second Elementary School. On the morning of June 12, 2006, two policemen from the Changning District Police Department, along with four national security agents in plain clothes, hauled the elderly lady from the third floor to the first floor. She was not allowed to use the restroom nor wear slippers. Her family members and her neighbor got angry and they criticized the policemen¡¦s rude act. On June 21, 2006, Ms. Xu Hanming was sentenced to one year of forced labor by policemen from the Changning District Police Department.

Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Duan Deling from Nanning City, Guangxi Province, was arrested by officials from the Nanning City 610 Office, the Jiangnan District Political and Judiciary Committee and the Neighborhood Administration. Her house was ransacked.

At around 2:00 p.m. on November 24, 2005, policemen from Panzhihua City National Security Section suddenly went to Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Liao Xiaohui's house and ransacked it. Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. He Fuming was at Ms. Liao's house at the time. Ms. He was arrested. At 5:00 p.m., Ms. He was sent to Panzhihua City. She was interrogated and was not allowed to sleep. One week later, policemen handcuffed her and hung her up with her hands cuffed behind her back (1), with only her toes touching the ground. She was left hanging until she was shivering all over. At 9:00 on April 4, 2006, Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Tan Haiyan was at home. Policemen from the Panzhihua City State Security Section, the Panzhihua City Steel Company Zhu Mine Police Department and the Majiawan Police Station went to her house. They knocked on the door but she did not open it. Policemen pried open the lock with a steel tool and sent someone to look for her husband. Her husband was threatened with a gun. They also wanted to beat him. He was forced to enter a vehicle and was sent home. After the policemen pried open the door, they arrested Ms. Tan. Her house was ransacked and her personal belongings were taken. Ms. Tan Haiyan is currently detained at the Panzhihua City Detention Center.

At around 3:00 p.m. on July 12, 2006, Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Cheng Guizhen was arrested at her house in the Wolitun Area, Longfeng District in Daqing City. There is no current information about her.

At around 9:00 a.m. on June 30, 2006, Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Zhu Yanghe was taking a rest at home in Aobao village, Hujitumo Town in Dumeng County, Daqing City. The head of the National Security Section, Li Shilin (male), and other policemen from the Hujitumo Town Police Department broke into his house and ransacked it. Dafa books, exercises tapes, a tape recorder and a New Year's Picture on the wall were taken. Mr. Zhu was arrested.

On May 26, 2006, the house of Falun Dafa practitioners Mr. Zhang Yijun and his wife Ms. Wang Hong was ransacked. Dafa books, three personal computers, printers and other belongings were taken. Those who came to ransack the house all wore plain clothes and said they were policemen from the Ganjingzi Police Department and the Zhoushuizi Police Station. Now, Mr. Zhang's 70-year-old parents-in-law are taking care of his child, who is less than ten years old. Two elderly people went to ask for the release of Mr. Zhang and his wife but they were not allowed to visit.

Ms. Wang Hong's brother, practitioner Mr. Wang Tao, left the Huanbao Hotel with righteous thoughts on June 27, 2006, and he is currently working at his previous workplace.

On July 12, 2006, Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Zhao Shuxian was brutally beaten by the ward head Li Xiaohua (gender unknown) and three other guards for a long time. She was shocked with two electric batons.

Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Wei Jiuyun is a resident of Houshayu Town, Shunyi County in Beijing City. Her house was ransacked and she is currently detained at the Shunyi County Detention Center.

Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Liu Hongbin is a 40-year-old resident of Baoquanling Farm, Hegang City. He was reported when he was posting truth-clarifying materials on June 30, 2006. He is currently detained at the Baoqunling Police Station.

Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Ren Laishun, around 38 years old, is a retired army officer from the Laiyang City 145 Army Hospital. He is employed by Laiyang City Normal School. He was dismissed from the school because he practiced Falun Gong. On June 29, 2006, he was arrested at his home.

Ms. Wu Guimei, around 41 years old, lives in Wugezhuang Village, Chengxiang Neighborhood in Laiyang City. On the morning of June 30, 2006, she was arrested at home by policemen, including Wei Haibo (male) from Laiyang City Vice Squad, for delivering Dafa materials.

Ms. Li Hua (alias), around 46 years old, lives in Wugezhuang Village, Chengxiang Neibourhood Administration in Laiyang City. On the afternoon of June 30, 2006, with the help of Wugezhuang Village officers, policemen Wei Haibao (male) and two others went to Ms. Li Hua's house. Ms. Li Hua was not home. She was forced to leave home to avoid being arrested.

Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Liu Juhua, a senior teacher from Huanggang City, was sentenced to two years of forced labor for delivering truth materials in Hunan Province. She was detained at Zhuzhou City Baimalong Women¡¦s Labor Camp in Hunan Province. She should have been released in June 2006. However, she was still detained because she insists on upholding her belief.

Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Li Feng, 60, a resident of Taiping Town, Zhenyuan County, makes her living selling fruit. In the middle of June 2006, Ms. Li Feng was reported when she was clarifying the truth at the Tianhe Vegetable Market in Xifeng District, Qingyang City. She was then arrested by policemen from the Beijie Police Station in Xifeng District and was detained at the Xifeng District Detention Center. On July 13, she was transferred to the Zhenyuan County Detention Center.

During the period when she was detained, officers attempted to extort her for 2000 yuan but she did not turn it over. Reportedly, one of her arms was disabled from torture.

Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Zheng Congyi was arrested by agents from the Panlong District Police Department when he was clarifying the truth in Kunming City on May 4, 2006. On May 23, he was sent to the Second Ward of the Yunnan Province Second Labor Camp. Because he maintains his faith in Falun Dafa, he was tortured severely. His right hand was seriously injured from his forearm to his five fingers. He could not bend his fingers and he could not make a fist. His two feet were swollen and red from the torture.

On May 22, 2006, Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Ji Jinhua from Pudong District, Shanghai City, was reported by her husband when she was preparing Dafa materials. She was arrested and detained at the Pudong District Detention Center. After she was released, she was sent to the Brainwashing Class by her husband. At the same time, Ms. You Xiuyun, Ms. Zeng, Ms. Bo Gendi, Ms. Yang Jie and over ten other practitioners were also arrested. Ms. Yang Jie left with righteous thoughts, but there is no further information about these practitioners.

On the night of July 7, 2006, Falun Dafa practitioners Ms. Hu Rongying and Ms. Zhao Xiaomin, from Nanzhong Village, Zhicheng Town in Jiyuan City, were arrested by policemen when they were posting Dafa truth materials. They are currently detained at the Shibin Detention Center. They went on hunger strike to protest being persecuted. They became very weak and were force-fed brutally. Ms. Zhao Xiaomian's face is cyanotic and swollen.

This is a very cruel torture commonly used by labor camps and brainwashing classes. With both hands shackled behind the back, and both feet off the ground, or only the toes touching the ground, one is hung from a basketball support or a building beam, by the handcuffs.
