Maintaining Righteous Thoughts While Being Harassed by Secret Agents in Front of the Chinese Consulate

(Clearwisdom.net) As Falun Dafa practitioners, we are open about our practice and have no secrets. For the last several years, I have peacefully protested on a regular basis against the persecution in front of the Chinese Consulate in our city. During the protest, I distributed flyers, clarified the truth, sent forth righteous thoughts, and practiced the five exercises. I validate Dafa and demand an end to the persecution with my words and deeds.

While sitting in front of the Chinese Consulate a few months ago, a black van drove in my direction and parked on the street next to me. As soon as I lifted my head, the secret agent in the van pointed a camera at me, took a picture, and drove off in a hurry. Shortly after this incident, every time I visited the Chinese Consulate to clarify the truth, the consulate employees would harass me. At home, I also received prerecorded harassment phone calls in English about 3-4 times a day. I’ve had moments of fear, but they all subsided after I studied the Fa and raised my level of understanding.

On July 16, 2006, as I was practicing the fifth exercise in front of the Chinese Consulate, a black van drove up and parked on the pedestrian sidewalk 2 meters away from me. When I heard the vehicle approach, I could not help but slightly lift my head and open my eyes. I saw a 30-year-old male secret agent sitting in the van with the windows rolled down. When he moved closer to me, I realized that he carried a camera. I knew that he most likely wanted to take my picture for use in future intimidation. I immediately returned to the meditation pose and continued with the fifth exercise. The baseball cap I was wearing blocked his view, and he could not stop the camera shutter in time. He became very angry and yelled at me frantically in Chinese: "Get up! I’m going to take your picture!" I quickly sent forth righteous thoughts and then heard the van drive away.

A week later I went with another practitioner to protest in front of the Chinese Consulate. At around 11:00 a.m., the black van from the previous week appeared again. This time, both a man and a woman were in the van. They parked across the street, and the female secret agent, with a camera in her hand, walked quickly toward the pedestrian sidewalk in front of the Chinese Consulate. She pretended to aim the camera at the front door, but suddenly pointed the camera toward us. The other practitioner was prepared, and after removing a digital camera from his satchel, quickly took several clear shots of the female secret agent as well as the license plate of the van. I kept on sending forth righteous thoughts to eliminate the evil. She knew she had exposed herself. She then quickly put away the camera, scurried into the van, and the two sheepishly drove off.

We have no fear about the incidents that occurred at the Chinese Consulate. Dafa practitioners should always think and act in a righteous way. Teacher has said:

I hope that those who still persecute Dafa practitioners will truly understand what Falun Gong is all about, and why the CCP is persecuting Dafa practitioners. I hope these people will have a better future.

I have understood the dignity of Dafa and Teacher’s benevolence. I will diligently validate the Fa, and walk with righteousness on the cultivation path of Fa rectification!
