1. [Pingdu City, Shandong Province] Five Falun Dafa Practitioners Arrested
Around 9:00 a.m. on July 20, 2006, six policemen broke into Ms. Gu Shuhua’s home in Houxiangzi Village, Chengguan Township. They arrested her and then sent her to the Pingdu 610 Office brainwashing unit for persecution.
Around 12:30 p.m. on July 16, 2006, Dafa practitioner Ms. Liu Yaqi from Zhangshe Township was illegally arrested and sent to the Pingdu 610 Office brainwashing unit.
Around 10:30 a.m. on July 6, 2006, the police from the Pingdu 610 Office in Jiudian Township Police Station arrested Ms. Dong and Ms. Wang Zhenying from their homes.
On July 14, 2006, the police broke into Mr. Zhang Shufa’s home and arrested his wife, Ms. Zhou Zhixiang.
2. [Jiaonan City, Shandong Province] Dafa Practitioner Ms. Zhang Meihua Detained in the Jinan City Brainwashing Center
In 2004, the police from Dacun Township Police Station arrested Ms. Zhang Meihua, a middle school teacher from Dacun Township, Jiaonan City, Shandong Province and sent her to the Qingdai Dacun Detention Center. She is currently detained in the Jinan City Brainwashing Center.
3. [Jiaonan City, Shandong Province] Dafa Practitioner Lu Fenghua Imprisoned in Jinan City Women’s Prison
In 2001, Ms. Lu Fenghua from Shiyin Township, Jiaonan City, Shandong Province, was reported to the authorities for posting Falun Dafa banners. As a result, she was arrested and sentenced to eight years in prison in August 2001. She is still imprisoned in Jinan City Women’s Prison.
4. [Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province] Dafa Practitioner Ma Xiaohua Arrested
In July 2006, the local police arrested Ms. Ma Xiaohua, a Dafa practitioner from Jiamusi City.
5. [Botou City, Hebei Province] Dafa Practitioners Li Hongzhi and Gai Xinli Arrested
On the evening of July 19, 2006, the police from Liuzhuang Police Station arrested Botou City residents Ms. Li Hongzhi and Ms. Gai Xinli for distributing truth-clarifying materials. They are now illegally detained in the Botou City Detention Center.

6. [Beijing] Dafa Practitioner Zhao Rongmin on Hunger Strike to Protest the Persecution
On July 19, 2006, the National Security Brigade from the Zhaoyang Branch Bureau of the Beijing Public Security Bureau arrested Dafa practitioner Ms. Zhao Rongmin for distributing truth-clarifying materials at the marketplace near Civil Aviation Hospital. Prior to July 19, 2006, Ms. Zhao was once illegally sentenced to two years of forced labor.

7. [Anshun City, Guizhou Province] Dafa Practitioners Arrested and Taken to Brainwashing Center
On July 11, 2006, Dafa practitioner Ms. Fan Min from Puding County, Anshun City, was arrested and sent to the Anshun Brainwashing Class. At about 11:00 a.m. on the same day, the Dongguan Agency in Xixiu Section arrested 68-year-old Ms. Li Chunxiang and Ms. Liao Guilan (over sixty years old), both from Hongzhou Plant in Anshun City. Both women were also sent to the Anshun Brainwashing Center. Dafa practitioners Ms. Jin Xiuying from the Anshun City Water-Control Bureau and Ms. Liu Juan from Yaopu County, Xixiu Section were also arrested that same day.
On July 16, 2006, Mr. Fu Honglie, a Dafa practitioner from Yongning Township, Guanling County, Anshun City, was arrested.
8. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Guilin Street Police Arrest Dafa Practitioner Gai Lianrong
In the early morning of July 21, 2006, Changchun City Dafa practitioner Ms. Gai Lianrong was reported to the authorities for hanging up a truth-clarifying banner near the Provincial People’s Congress. The police from Guilin Street Police Station then arrested her, illegally searched her home and confiscated her property. Ms. Gai is currently detained in the Zhaoyang Public Security Branch Bureau.
9. [Ningxiang County, Hunan Province] Ms. Hu Ying Arrested, Now Missing
Ms. Hu Ying, about 30 years old and an employee of Ningxiang County, was arrested for writing a truth-clarifying message on her currency. Her whereabouts are unknown.
10. [Renshou County, Sichuan Province] Dafa Practitioners Liu Zihua and Liu Ziqin Forced to Leave Home to Avoid Persecution
Dafa Practitioners Ms. Liu Zihua and Ms. Liu Ziqin are from Zhoyue Brigade, Sanxi Towhship, Renshou County. They were forced to leave home to avoid further persecution. Their whereabouts are unknown.
11. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Dafa Practitioner Wang Jiangcui on Hunger Strike for More Than Forty Days to Protest the Persecution
Sixty-four-year-old Ms. Wang Jiancui is a Dafa practitioner at the Daqing City Oil Extraction Plant. She is imprisoned at the Daqing First Detention Center and has been hunger striking for more than 40 days to protest the persecution. She is very weak now. The Honggang Section Court in Daqing City will try Ms. Wang on July 25.

12. [Mudanjiang City, Heilongjiang Province] Dafa Practitioner Zhang Yuxiang Arrested
On the evening of July 17, 2006, the National Security Brigade and the Mudanjiang City National Security Bureau arrested Dafa practitioner Zhang Yuxiang and confiscated her personal belongings including truth-clarification materials. She is currently detained at the Mudanjiang City Second Detention Center.

13. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Dafa Practitioner Cao Jinfeng Forced to Become Homeless to Avoid Further Persecution
On December 21, 1999, Chengdu Shuangqiao Police Station arrested Ms. Cao Jinfeng at work and tortured her by using the "Iron Cage" torture method. On December 22, she was sent to a mental hospital for further persecution.
In February 2000, Ms. Cao went to validate Dafa at Beijing’s Tiananmen Square. However, she was arrested and sent back to Chengdu City and illegally detained at the
Qingyang Section Drug Rehabilitation Center for one month.
Toward the end of 2000, Ms. Cao again went to Beijing to validate Dafa and was arrested. She was sent back to Chengdu City and sentenced to one-and-a-half years of forced labor by the Shuangqiao Police Station.
In 2002, a monk to whom Ms. Cao had clarified the truth in Pujiang Shixianghu reported her to the authorities. The local National Security illegally detained her for a week. Ms. Cao was released only after her family paid 5,000 yuan.
In June 2004, an instructor by the name of Liu from Chenghua Public Security Branch Bureau forced his way into her home and illegally searched it. Ms. Cao was forced to leave home in 2005 when the Chenghua Public Security Brach Bureau tried to arrest her.
14. [Binzhou City, Shandong Province] Dafa Practitioner Shen Xiaoxia Cruelly Tortured
Ms. Shen Xiaoxia, 30, is from Binzhou City, Shandong Province. In March 2006, she was reported to the authorities because she had Dafa materials. As a result, she was suspended from work and arrested by the local police. Ms. Shen is currently detained at the Zouping Second Detention Center, where she is cruelly tortured for her belief. She will soon be transferred to the Liaocheng Detention Center for further persecution.
