Falun Gong Gave New Life to a Retired College Professor - the CCP Persecution Drove Her to Mental Collapse

(Clearwisdom.net) During the second half of 1998, I stayed with a friend in a college dorm for female students. Every morning I joined a Falun Gong group practice on campus. I can still vividly remember the peaceful and beautiful practice environment. After the morning exercises, I returned to the dorm and read the Falun Gong book for one hour. After these daily activities, I usually felt quite good. My body and spirit became clean and clear, and I would have a good day. I also learned that when conflicts happened around me, I should look inside myself to find what I did wrong. I also learned how to be considerate of others. I knew that I should improve myself from inside and become an honest and good person.

A married couple who were retired college professors practiced with me at the same site. Every morning, they would bring the cassette player to this quiet location on campus. Everyone would follow the beautiful music and complete the first four exercises together.

I still vividly remember my first visit to the couple's home. When I saw Mrs. W's smooth skin, I could not believe my eyes. She was over 60, but her skin was like a baby's. Although I knew why it was like that, I still couldn't help asking, "Mrs. W, your skin is so beautiful!" She smiled and looked at my eyes, "Young lady, my skin became so good after I practiced Falun Gong. You should also learn Falun Gong." Then she whispered in my ear, "Not only has my skin become so good, even my period has come back!" Every day, people saw Mrs. W and her youthful and healthy state, and many people learned about the amazing effects of Falun Gong.

In the winter of 1998 I left the city and returned to my hometown. I did not see Mrs. W for a long time. After the persecution began on July 20, 1999, I heard that the city Mr. and Mrs. W lived in was one of the harshest in its persecution of Falun Gong. I worried very much about the practitioners there. In 2001, I had a chance to visit that city. I brought some fruit and went to the school where the couple lived. However, they had moved. After asking many people without revealing my own identify, I finally found their new home.

After I walked into their home, Mr. W greeted me. He was surprised to see me, and his eyes told me that he was afraid. After we sat down, he said, "All of our books have been confiscated. Mrs. W has been harassed and suffered a mental collapse as a result. She does not recognize anyone, and now she is bedridden."

Mr. W led me to a small room. I was shocked to see Mrs. W lying in bed. Her eyes were so empty, her face looked pale and ill.

Looking at Mrs. W, I was very sad, and my heart was crying. I held her hand. She raised her head and saw my face. Suddenly her eyes lit up, tears started to roll down her cheeks. I asked, "Mrs. W, do you still remember me?" She nodded. Before I had a chance to say more, Mr. W pulled me out of the room and said, "She has been in such a mental state for a long time and does not remember anyone. She does not even recognize our son. I have no idea how she still remembers you." I was speechless. My heart was with her. I knew why she still remembered me. It is because she remembers Falun Dafa, and she remembers that she and I were both Falun Dafa practitioners.

A few minutes later, Mr. W cautioned me: "Be careful after you leave here. Don't speak casually. Can you please leave now? I don't dare to keep you here any longer." He showed me the door. I felt that he was no longer practicing Falun Gong.

After I left, I boarded the bus, and I felt some regret. Why couldn't I stay longer? Why couldn't I talk to them more? I thought that since Falun Gong made Mrs. W so young and healthy before, now Falun Gong can help her regain her health. I knew that Dafa was deeply rooted in her heart. Falun Dafa was the basis of her life. From Falun Dafa, she came to know how to be a good and unselfish person.

I remember that on TV, the government propaganda said, "Falun Gong destabilizes society and is harmful to practitioners' mental and physical health, we must eradicate Falun Gong in three months." In China in the past several years, tragedies like this one have happened over and over to many families and individuals. But everyone should ask himself a hard question, "Who is destabilizing society? What is harmful to people's health? A healthy Falun Gong practitioner was reduced to a bedridden mental patient who needs constant care for daily living. How could they blame Falun Gong for harming people's health? Many Falun Gong practitioners suffered mental trauma after the communist government's persecution, and their bodies were injected with unknown drugs. Now the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is saying that Falun Gong made the practitioners that way! All those families that became harmonious after they practiced Falun Gong have now become shattered. Yet, the CCP blames Falun Gong for destabilizing the Chinese society?

The CCP is completely twisting the facts. The evil CCP is perpetrating the dirtiest tricks one can imagine. I am asking this question to everyone, "Who is harming people's physical and mental health? Who is destabilizing society? Who should be completely eradicated?!
