By a Falun Dafa practitioner in Queensland, Australia

(Clearwisdom.net) The Third Falun Dafa Cultivation Experience Sharing Conference was held on August 6, 2006 at Robina Community Center in Gold Coast, Queensland. Attendees came from Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Cairns and Gold Coast.

Prior to the Fa conference, Falun Gong practitioners held a series of activities including a grand parade and "Great Wall of Courage," and other activities to expose to the local people the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution of Falun Gong and its heinous atrocities of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners. They called on people to extend their helping hands to stop the inhuman and brutal atrocities happening in China.

On August 6, the Fa conference started after all attendees sent forth righteous thoughts at 9:55 a.m. The host made an opening speech by reading aloud Master’s new article "For the Good of the World" that was recently published.

The dark background of the stage at the conference site made the banner with golden words on a purplish red background especially noticible. The banner read, "The Third Queensland Falun Dafa Cultivation Experience Sharing Conference" in both Chinese and English. Master’s portrait was in the center of the background, and two Falun emblems with the words "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance" and "Falun Rotates Endlessly" were hung respectively on the left and right sides. On the podium covered with a piece of golden cloth there was a pot of lilies, pure and elegant, and the fragrance permeated everywhere. The big Falun in front of the stage made the entire conference site especially peaceful and solemn.

During experience sharing, a practitioner representing a truth clarification team shared their process of cultivation during the past two years. Regardless of weather conditions, they have been persistently holding a series of truth clarification activities among five blocks in downtown where there was a dense flow of people and busy traffic. The activities included holding an anti-torture exhibit, distributing truth clarification fliers and collecting signatures. During these activities, they have experienced interference and tests from multiple sources, but practitioners faced them rationally, calmly, patiently and with righteous thoughts and actions as Dafa practitioners should. They clarified the truth, and overcame interference and difficulties one after another. These situations creat cultivation opportunities that help practitioners elevate their xinxing and realms, bit by bit.

Practitioners from the service center for quitting the CCP shared their experiences from the past two years since the service center was set up early 2005. Through studying the Fa and sharing experiences and understandings, they made improvement in understanding the Fa principles. They have held themselves strictly to the standard of Fa-rectification period Dafa disciples, overcome difficulties in all areas, and persistently clarified the truth to people with different backgrounds on a daily basis. Dafa practitioners’ compassion awakened people’s conscience, and more and more people have learned about the true picture of the situation and expressed their support.

An 86-year-old western woman practitioner came especially to attend the Fa conference by taxi from over 200 miles away. She recounted her experience after obtaining the Fa while tears ran down her face. With her righteous belief in Dafa, she has escaped death on several occasions. It was Master who gave her opportunities one after another to regain her life.

What is worth noting was that a practitioner introduced that her daughter, who is in primary school, has never learned Chinese. Only by studying the Fa with practitioners and reading after them the book Zhuan Falun, she could soon read the book all alone. She read aloud one part from the book "Loss and Gain" on the spot. This miracle witnessed the Dafa’s mighty power in unlocking cultivators’ wisdom.

In addition, seventeen more practitioners shared their experiences in Fa-rectification cultivation. They talked about their experiences of validating Dafa using different forms, and their understanding of how to assist Master in the Fa-rectification, clarify the truth, offer salvation to sentient beings, look within, expose one’s attachments, find where they fall short and make constant improvement in their xinxing. They particularly expressed their sincere gratitude to revered Master for his benevolent and arduous salvation. The stories of cultivators who walk toward maturity with Master’s benevolent and arduous salvation and protection were very touching.

The Fa conference successfully concluded after 5:00 p.m.
