By a practitioner in China

(Clearwisdom.net) My hometown is a country village. Although the village is small, there are quite a few Communist Party members there, more than 10 of them to be exact. Every time I returned for a visit, I "clarified the truth" to them and asked them to quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Over a year passed, but none of them had quit the CCP. Some were very stubborn: "I will not quit the CCP even if you kill me!" Some said they needed to think about it. I could not understand why they would not quit the evil party.

This time when I went back, there was an election going on. I went to a CCP member that I am very familiar with and asked him frankly, "What do you think about what I asked you to do?" He said, "I know there is no benefit to being a CCP member. Plus, I have to pay the membership fee, and virtually all those that are corrupt are CCP members." I then said, "If this is the case, how about quitting CCP and quit doing bad things with them? You can use a pseudonym or a nickname." He said, "It makes no difference whether or not one quits the CCP." I replied, "There is a big difference. When you joined the CCP, you raised your fist and swore to devote yourself to communism. It is a mark associated with evil. If you want to remove the mark, you need to make a declaration. That is the only way to be saved." He went quiet.

I then said, "There was a saying in the past that it is better to believe that something exists than that it doesn't exist. Although right now you cannot see clearly the benefits of making the declaration to quit, it is just like having life insurance that costs you nothing. You just need to agree to quit the CCP. It's that simple." He thought about it and said, "I still have fear." I said, "I will come up with a name for you. How about we use this name for you to quit CCP? This is known only by heaven, earth, you and me, so nobody will be able to use it to harm you in any way." He agreed to do so.

In the late afternoon, I met another friend who had previously joined the CCP Youth League. I had asked him to quit, but more than one year had passed and he still had not. This time I told him, "We are good friends and this is very important for you. That is why I have asked you again and again to quit the Youth League. Plus, you do not have to use your real name; a pseudonym would work. You need do nothing other than just agree on it." He was still hesitant and said he needed to go home and discuss it with his wife. I said, "How can you let others decide your future? Are you fearful? How about I come up with a name and we use that for you to quit?" He thought a while and finally said, "All right." Then he said, "How about using this name?" I said, "O.K." He then asked, "Do you need my ID card or my Residential Registration Document?" I said, "No. As long as you declare your desire to quit, heaven will separate you from the CCP cult." When I left, he asked several times if I would remember to do it. I replied, "Of course I will not forget. This is very important." Then I reminded him to tell his friends and relatives to quit the CCP in order to save them. He happily agreed.

These two experiences made me realize why I spent over a year asking people to quit the CCP, and yet none of them did. That is, I did not clarify the truth well enough and did not resolve their concerns or fears. There are plenty of experience sharing articles published in the "Minghui Weekly" on truth clarification and how to tell people to quit the CCP. I did not pay attention to them and now I know how valuable those experiences are.

Teacher told us to clarify the truth with rationality and wisdom. In the past I understood these words only on the surface. Now I have a deeper understanding of truth-clarification, more specifically, what to clarify and how to do it. That is, to clarify the truth about the unreasonable persecution against Dafa, as well as the fact that people should quit the CCP in order to secure a safe future. Clarifying the truth with rationality and wisdom does not mean you tell them all the truth you know. Instead, we should keep in mind who we are talking to, and speak to them in a way that they can understand. It is not as if we talk about whatever comes into our mind. Instead, we should do things righteously, so that that people can truly be saved.
