Michigan State Senator Mike Goschka: The Chinese Government Must Put an Immediate Stop to the Reckless Killing of Innocent People


(Clearwisdom.net) On September 6, 2006, the Honorable Mike Goschka, Michigan State Senator, wrote a statement condemning the Chinese Communist Party's practice of organ harvesting being carried out upon living Falun Gong practitioners in China. Senator Goschka pointed out that this appalling practice attacks the very roots of morality and justice and must not be allowed to continue. Below is the text of the statement from Senator Mike Goschka.

September 6, 2006

To Whom It May Concern:

I wholeheartedly support the efforts of the Falun Gong practitioners of Michigan in their efforts to bring an end to the horrific practice of organ harvesting being carried out upon the Falun Gong practitioners in China. The practice of harvesting organs from innocent prisoners of conscience is a crime against humanity.

The Chinese government must put an immediate stop to the reckless killing of innocent people, and recognize and uphold the value of human life. This appalling practice attacks the very roots of morality and justice and must not be allowed to continue.

Therefore, I call on the citizens of the state of Michigan and the people of the United States, as well as the entire international community to pressure the Chinese government to put a stop to these atrocities. Finally I call directly upon the Chinese government to make a public commitment to uphold the value of human life and to guarantee a safe and secure future for the citizens of China.
