Time Slowed Down When I Almost Fell Off a Mountain

(Clearwisdom.net) On December 31, 1999, it was pouring, as if all the water in the heaven was dumped to wash the earth. "Whish," "whish," the raindrops struck on the roof of the car.

Driving on a winding mountain road, we entered an area without road signs. The wipers were at their fastest speed, but they couldn't keep up with the rain. We were driving through the clouds, so it was all foggy outside.

Suddenly I found out the road had come to an end! The moment I realized it, I saw a cliff ahead. I pressed the brake all the way, and turned the wheel to the right. Then I saw the overhanging rocks. I turned the wheel to the left. A sharp sound came from the tire rubbing the road. Bang! The car was hitting something. Then I heard someone crying, "My god! My god!"

Suddenly, I couldn't hear the rain. The heavy rain seemed to have vanished. It was total silence.

I saw the head of the car up there, and the car was drifting slowly, very slowly, like a feather, like a slow motion movie.

Suddenly, I remembered that I was a cultivator, and I haven't finished my cultivation. I cried from deep in my heart, "Master!" Then at that moment, the car stopped drifting. Suddenly, I heard the rain again. I felt like coming back from another dimension. The rain was still pouring down, and I heard the gurgling of the stream down the mountain. I could also faintly see the edge of the road. The car was shaking slightly. No one dared to get out of the car, otherwise the car would be out of balance and fall off the cliff.

The cellular phone had no signal. I looked down. To my surprise, I saw rabbit-ears TV antenna a piece of red cotton flannel. I tied the cotton to the end of the antenna and stretched it of the car. After a long while, someone covered with mud came along and saw us. Then, a long steel wire used for rescuing people was hang down to pull the chassis of our car. I got out of the car very carefully. I left all of our video recording equipment in the car, but held the book Zhuan Falun close to my chest.

The car was teetering on the edge. Three wheels were hanging in the air and only one third of a rear wheel was buried in the mud. Everyone who witnessed this said, "You must be blessed by God!"

I was not scared at all when we had the accident. I was very calm in my mind. I even told jokes. I checked my pulse and it was 70 beats a minute. However, when I left the accident site in another car, my hands and legs began to tremble. I became very nervous. When someone asked me questions, I answered with a worn out voice, "Please, please do not ask me any more questions." My voice was trembling. I felt really scared when I thought back about it!

Anyone could encounter an accident. They are the result of karma. I cultivated Falun Gong. If Teacher hadn't protected me with His power, I would have been smashed to pieces. Teacher said in Zhuan Falun,

"So on your cultivation path some dangerous things might happen. But when these things happen you won't be scared, and we won't let you get into real danger."

"Nobody who runs into this type of thing gets scared, although they might get scared when they think back about it."

There are numerous magic stories like this among people who cultivate Falun Gong. Many people had such experience as I have told you today.
