Teacher reveals a heavenly secret to practitioners in the very first chapter in Zhuan Falun,

"To tell you the truth, the entire cultivation process for a practitioner is one of constantly giving up human attachments."

How can we give up attachments?

Teacher then said,

"Without knowing the Fa at high levels, one cannot practice cultivation. Without cultivating one's inner self and one's xinxing, one cannot increase gong. These are the two reasons." (Zhuan Falun)

The great path is so simple and straightforward. Cultivation is all about studying the Fa and cultivating our hearts.

After I started practicing Falun Dafa towards the end of 1995, I felt for a very long time that there was a layer of blockage when I studied the Fa. I could not quite learn the Fa, nor could I remember it in my heart. Worse yet, I got sleepy when studying the Fa. I was puzzled and desperate. I had obtained the Fa, yet I could not learn the Fa. How could I go on like this? Even though I did not understand why, I knew one thing for sure: It just won't do if I just study the Fa but do not really obtain the Fa. So I decided to memorize the Fa. As soon as I had this thought, I suddenly had the feeling, "When one's Buddha-nature emerges, it will shake the world of ten directions." (Zhuan Falun) I felt relieved all over, clear-hearted, and buoyant. I knew that was the real me, the enlightenment of my true nature. The feeling of yearning to learn and obtain the Fa, my hunger and craving for the Fa, my yearning to obtain the Fa by memorizing the Fa just could not be expressed with mere words. Age, time, taking care of my child, etc, could not stop me. In less than a year, I recited Zhuan Falun from memory ten times. Fellow practitioners told me, "Your cultivation to this day is all based on your studying and memorizing the Fa."

In 2000, Teacher helped me understand the Fa theory of "no second cultivation way." Teacher pointed out to me in Zhuan Falun, "If you step on two boats at the same time and cultivate both this and that, you cannot attain anything."

I realized that I must quit the Chinese Communist Party since the CCP is the real evil cult. So I wrote the "resignation letter" and talked with our Party Secretary. My resignation was rejected. Ten days later, my work unit informed me, "Practicing Falun Gong and resigning from the Party will result in your being closely monitored by the city's surveillance team, and the outcome will be your own responsibility." I did not hesitate and decided to quit the Party.

Ordeals from my work unit, family, and society were to be expected. But by studying and memorizing it, the Fa had already firmly rooted in my heart. Teacher said in Zhuan Falun,

"The master takes you through the entrance, and it is up to you to practice cultivation."

"If you can commit your mind, no difficulties can stop you. I would say that there is not a problem."

After a few months, my application to quit the CCP was authorized at the provincial level, and I really quit the CCP. All the repercussions others had warned me about never materialized. It was so quiet, as if nothing had happened. Just like Teacher stated in Zhuan Falun,

"If you can actually do it, you will indeed find: 'After passing the shady willow trees, there will be bright flowers and another village ahead!'"

My colleague told me the following story after I had clarified the truth. Several men had come in a car trying to find me, but they were very hesitant and apprehensive about going upstairs. They insisted that this colleague of mine go up to my residence and check to see what I was doing. My colleague replied, "She is taking care of the kids. What else do you expect her to be doing? You can go upstairs yourself." In the end these men discussed it for a while but never tried to go up to my floor. They finally left in their car. I realized, "Study the Fa to obtain the Fa." "The Buddha-light illuminates everywhere and rectifies all abnormalities." The divine power from the supreme Buddha Fa made the people trying to commit bad deeds change their minds and flee.

I wrote about my experience to show the manifestation of the supreme power of the Fa and not to show how well I did myself. Regardless of when or where, when I exchange experiences with fellow practitioners, my most profound realization is that only through studying the Fa, obtaining the Fa, and totally assimilating into the Fa can we truly qualify as Dafa practitioners. Only then can we accomplish tasks endowed to Dafa practitioners, and the work that we do will be the most pure and sacred. Only through studying the Fa, obtaining the Fa, and assimilating to the Fa can we be called particles of Dafa, cultivate ourselves well, and be Teacher's disciples.
