Hamburg, Germany: Practitioners Expose CCP Crimes

(Clearwisdom.net) On Saturday, September 3, 2006, Falun Gong practitioners from Hamburg and surrounding areas gathered in downtown Hamburg. They set up a booth in the most favored shopping area, the Ida-Ehre Platz on Mönckebergstraße, across from a large department store. The location provides the perfect opportunity to inform people about the organ harvesting atrocities underway in China today. Practitioners covered a large table with materials about the organ harvests, as well as what Falun Gong is all about.

There were many people shopping that day. Practitioners set up a mock operating table with blood covered sheets, a "doctor" in a medical gown, and a loudspeaker explaining what was on display. People are drawn to these demonstrations, and passersby come to a standstill in front of them. Learning the truth, they gather around the table to sign a petition. The crowd in front of the table doesn't seem to get any smaller all day long. The people are horrified because of the cruelties perpetrated by the Chinese communist party (CCP).

Practitioners also set up a small cage surrounded by paintings composed by Falun Gong practitioners. This exhibit demonstrated to the passersby quite effectively the torture methods used in China. Many of the artists whose works were displayed have experienced such torture firsthand. People are often deeply disturbed by these paintings.

People say things like, "This is terrible, I will sign immediately. How can anyone do this terrible thing to other humans, just like during Hitler's time! Something like this can't be happening again..."

Horrified, people ask, "Why are they doing this to Falun Gong practitioners, especially since they only want to practice their spiritual belief?" The recognition of the irrationality of the persecution is visible on their faces.

No one can understand how the German government can do business with such criminals, and continue to expand and enlarge economic ties. Many say that our politicians should have learned from the mistakes the Nazis committed, instead of closing their eyes to such cruelties.

The town's citizens have definitely understood that Falun Gong is not what the CCP spreads in its propaganda. People approach the practitioners and ask how they can help.

On this Saturday, more people than ever before signed the petition appealing against the organ harvesting of Falun Gong practitioners in China. Many read the flyers or display boards before signing the petition, without the need for additional information. The truth speaks for itself.

The petition will soon be presented to the government. Politicians must form a picture about the true human rights situation in China before high-ranking Chinese politicians and business leaders come to Hamburg for the Chinatime conference.

Hamburg citizens have made their choice!
