By a Dafa practitioner in Mainland China

(Clearwisdom.net) No matter what the situation or environment, we must not miss the opportunity to save people. At the same time, we must maintain a clear mind, be rational, have righteous thoughts, and righteously move forward. We must always remember: We are cultivators with the task of saving people.

When clarifying the truth one should strengthen righteous thoughts. One must not do this anxiously, but should use the compassion of a practitioner to tell people the facts. In the process of clarifying the truth, if any incorrect thoughts arise in my mind, I immediately use righteous thoughts to purge it. When faced with people who do not understand Dafa and who say unreasonable things, I do not hurry to correct them. Instead, I send out very powerful righteous thoughts, destroying the evil behind him and separating the true him and the false him, as his genuine side thirsts to be saved. The key to clarifying the truth is to not be moved by the heart of the other person. We should refrain from arguing with people, and exhibit the compassion of Dafa disciples who are saving sentient beings.

One must not have preconceived ideas as to who will be able to accept the truth. Once, I met a principal of a school and I wanted to clarify the truth to him. Because I had a human mindset, it hindered me and I didn't explain the truth well to him. I thought his culture was very high, and I hadn't read much of the "Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party ". What if he raised questions I couldn't answer? How embarrassing that would be! These human notions impeded my chance to clarify the truth. It was very fortunate that he lived in the same village as me, so when I went to the fields to work, I ran into him again. I knew it was Master giving me another chance. I told him about the persecution at Sujiatun and the "April 25" appeal. He acknowledged that practicing Falun Gong isn't wrong, but he thought we were involved in politics and he was against that. I told him that we are just a group of people who cultivate Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance, and it was Jiang's jealousy that motivated this wave of brutal persecution against the practitioners. I explained that we went to Beijing to peacefully appeal for justice for Falun Gong, in accordance with the national laws. When injustice is done to someone, they have the right to speak out. We only want a peaceful cultivation environment, and we haven't involved ourselves in politics. After hearing my explanation, he decided to withdraw from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations.

Master said in "Teaching the Fa at the 2002 Fa Conference in Boston",

"You are cultivators, whose conduct is [supposed to be] pure and righteous. There are so many people who think you're great just by having seen how you act."

Every day I live according to Master's words. Almost everyone I know has withdrawn from the CCP. All of my family and friends have withdrawn. Once, fifteen people that I spoke with withdrew at once.

I once met a Buddhist who did not want to listen to me as soon as I mentioned Falun Gong. First, I sent righteous thoughts to purge the evil behind him, then his attachments, and told him that upright religions all teach people to be good people. I told him that our Dafa doesn't attack his religion. At the same time, I genuinely wished him a safe life. After hearing this, he happily agreed to withdraw from the CCP and its affiliated organizations. He also indicated his empathy for the persecuted Falun Gong practitioners.

There is young man with a mental disability who lives very far away from my house in my village. For a few days he followed me everywhere, but I was not afraid. After several, days I saw him again behind my house. I realized that I should clarify the truth to him. I immediately clarified the truth to him. Indeed, his human side was mentally disabled, but his main consciousness was still aware of right and wrong. He happily withdrew from the Communist Youth League. From this, we can see that the knowing side of sentient beings all wish to be saved. We should never allow our human thoughts to make us miss the opportunity to save sentient beings!
