USA: Saint Louis Practitioners Bring the Beauty of Falun Gong to Southern Illinois University (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On September 12, Falun Gong practitioners from St. Louis, Missouri went to Southern Illinois University to teach the exercises, spread the Fa and clarify the truth.

Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville held an activity called "Eleven Days of Peace." The university invited different groups to introduce methods to obtain peace in the heart. Falun Gong practitioners were also invited. One of the organizers said that the reason they invited the Falun Gong practitioners was because they wanted to show students how people obtain peace and tranquility in different cultures. She said that since they have a very good relationship with the Falun Gong group, they wanted to invite practitioners to attend the activity and also give students an opportunity to learn about Falun Gong.

Practitioners have held several activities at Southern Illinois University, including the "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance" Art Exhibition and events to expose the persecution of Falun Gong in China, so many students already knew about Falun Gong. In this activity, practitioners introduced the exercises and the principles of Falun Dafa. Many students were interested in learning. Some students who learned the exercises said that they really liked it and felt relaxed after practicing the movements.

During the four-hour activity, many people left their contact information with practitioners. Practitioners will conduct a free workshop to teach the exercises over the weekend. They also passed out more than one thousand newspapers, flyers and bookmarks so that students and teachers at Southern Illinois University could better understand and appreciate the beauty of Falun Dafa.
