Family Experiences Miracles After Cultivating in the Fa
By Zheng Zhiyan
(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. He, in her sixties, looks like a woman in her
twenties. She is exuberant with relaxed yet dynamic movements. Many people envy
her prolonged youth. Her whole family practices Falun Gong, and in fact, they
started practicing after the persecution, which started in 1999, had begun. This
family has experienced many miracles. Ms. He is a successful businesswoman. Her clothing business is quite famous
locally. Colleagues in the Sichuan Province business circle call her Sister He.
Two years ago, Ms. He and her husband visited their daughter in Montreal,
Canada. Her husband returned to China, and Ms. He stayed in Montreal with her
daughter. Her daughter was in poor health and suffered from severe asthma, which
she had had since childhood. Ms. He was agonized by her daughter's pain. She
often whispered to herself, "I must have committed great sins in my past
life to cause my daughter to suffer retribution." Miracle for Ms. He's Daughter In April 2004, Ms. He's daughter attended the "Rescue Falun Gong
Orphans" charity concert at Concordia University. After the concert, she
started reading Falun Gong books eagerly. She felt that she had found the
meaning of life, and she was determined to live according to the principles of
Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance. She read the Falun Dafa books and
practiced the exercises. A few months later, all of her diseases disappeared.
She has been very heatlhy since then. "Isn't it a miracle?" Ms. He exclaimed while pointing at a cabinet
nearby. "To cure my daughter's disease, I bought many medicines. Each drug
cost hundreds or even thousands of Canadian dollars. We still have plenty left
in the cabinet, but we don't need them anymore." Miracle for Ms. He Ms. He is in good shape because she dances frequently. However, before she
started practicing Falun Gong, she could not lift her right arm. "When I
tried to, it felt like my entire arm would fall off. My third and fourth
vertebrae also had problems. I sought help from many doctors, but none could
make the pain go away." The situation is totally different now. "When I had just begun to
practice, I still couldn't lift my arm. In fact it hurt so much that I cried. I
kept doing the exercises, and gradually and subtly, the problems went
away." Ms. He said proudly, "Now I can hold my arm up for an hour at a
time." "The crucial point here is that we practice Falun Gong not to cure
illnesses but to become good people, who assimilate to Truthfulness, Compassion,
and Forbearance." Miracle for Ms. He's Husband When asked about her husband, Ms. He said, "Even the doctors agree that
he experienced a miracle." Her husband slipped and fell on ice in May 2005. The X-ray showed a broken
femur. He underwent surgery immediately and had three steel pins implanted in
the bone. At the time, he had already started practicing Falun Gong. The shooting of Australian Falun Gong practitioner David Liang in South
Africa occurred around that time. Mr. Liang was shot in the leg with an AK-47.
Doctors wanted to amputate his leg to save his life. Mr. Liang refused the
amputation, and within about three months of practicing the exercises and
studying the Fa, he fully recovered. Inspired by Mr. Liang's story, Ms. He's husband kept on studying the Fa and
doing the exercises. He also recovered quickly. During every post-surgery visit
to the hospital, doctors were amazed by how rapidly he recovered. Six months
later he could walk without crutches and could walk around the Huangjia Mountain
in two hours. The doctors also found a minor fracture in Ms. He's husband's forearm.
However, the fracture was gone when the doctors were ready to operate on it. "Doctors couldn't explain how such serious femur and forearm fractures
could recover so rapidly, so they said it was a miracle." Ms. He added. Experiencing Decades of Mistreatment, Quitting the CCP without Hesitation Some of Ms. He's older relatives were members of the Chinese Communist Party.
She was the child of a so-called anti-revolutionist during the Cultural
Revolution. In the 1930s, Ms. He's grandfather was the deputy governor of a county. His
family was quite wealthy. Influenced by the propaganda of the Chinese Communist
Party, he joined the Party in secret. Because he staged riots, he was executed
by the local government. Her father was an underground Chinese Communist as well. He was an engineer
of the Chongqing Electricity Factory. When the Nationalists retreated to Taiwan,
he stayed, although he had a much sought-after plane ticket to Taiwan. Later on,
he was targeted as an anti-revolutionist. "My father was victimized in
every political movement. He lived his whole life with his head down. We the
children were traumatized too," Ms. He recounted. "After experiencing decades of mistreatment, I eventually realized that
the Chinese Communist Party has never been and never will be good to the Chinese
people," Ms. He said with a touch of relaxation. "So after the release
of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, my husband
was the first in the family to quit the Communist Party." |
