1. [Shulan City, Jilin Province] Dafa Practitioner Zhao Chenghai Arrested

On the morning of August 31, 2006 dozens of officers from the Shulan Police Department broke into and searched the home of Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Zhao Chenghai. They kicked and punched him, and later illegally arrested him. Zhao Chenghai is currently detained at the Nanshan Detention Center in Shulan.

4. [Laizhou City, Shandong Province] Xu Yongqing Arrested

On the morning of September 4, 2006 the officers of the Laizhou 610 Office arrested Ms. Xu Yongqing, a retired worker from the Laizhou Material Mechanical Factory. They took Ms. Xu's key and searched her house. She is currently detained at an unknown location.

At 10:00 p.m. on September 1, 2006 policewoman Li Shujuan of the Li County Police arrested two practitioners, Ms. Jungu and Mr. Cui Xiaowu of Xiaochen Town, and confined them at the Li County Detention Center.

6. [Tunzhou City, Hebei Province] Practitioner Yan Xiuxiang Sent to a Labor Camp for Three Years

Ms. Yan Xiuxiang is 53 years old; she lives at Beihengqi Village, Sunzhuang Town, Tunzhou City. On December 29, 2004 (of the lunar calendar) she was arrested by Officer Zhao Yizong of the Sunzhuang Police and sent to a labor camp in Balizhuang for three years.

Recently Yan Xiuxiang's husband underwent surgery and is still in bed recovering. Their second daughter had to quit her job to take care of him.

7. [Changzhi, Shanxi Province] Zhang Yanbin Secretly Sentenced to Jail

Three practitioners from Changzhi, Mr. Zhang Yanbin, Mr. Zhang Hongyan and Mr. Fu Changshen were secretly sentenced to jail. Zhang Hongyan was sentenced to 7 years, Zhang Yanbin to 5 years and Fu Changshen to 3 years.

On August 8, 2006 Cui Jiyuan deceived Dafa practitioner Li Beiping into appearing at the Redflag Court, where he was sentenced to four years in a labor camp and sent directly to a detention center.

10. [Tongliao, Inner Mongolia] Tian Xin Secretly Sentenced to Two Years and Transferred to the Huhehaote Women's Labor Camp

11. [Dingzhou, Hebei Province] Su Junying and Other Practitioners Detained

Practitioners Ms. Su Junying, Mr. Huiqing and Mr. Dai Ping from Quanqiu, Dingzhou, Hebei Province went to Qibao Village to distribute truth-clarification materials and were reported to the authorities. They were all arrested and detained and their homes were searched.

12. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] North China Medicine Company is Persecuting Dafa Practitioners

Since April 25, 1999 North China Medicine Company has spent money to arrest their practitioner employees and send them to Wentang, Pingshan, Shijiazhuang, Hebei for brainwashing. Police officers force the practitioners to write "guarantee statements" and threaten them with being fired. Some of the practitioners were dismissed from their jobs and sent to labor camps.

13. [Weifang, Shandong Province] Fu Bin Arrested

On the afternoon of September 4, 2006 Dafa practitioner Mr. Fu Bin went to the countryside to clarify the truth and was reported to the authorities. The police arrested him and his home was searched. His whereabouts are unknown.

14. [Laixi City, Shandong Province] Practitioner Mr. Li Delong Detained at the Laixi Detention Center

15. [Gunzhou, Shandong Province] Wei Maoxia Sent to a Labor Camp

Falun Gong Ms. Wei Maoxia from Gunzhou, Jining in Shandong distributed truth-clarification materials on July 21, 2006. She was arrested and her home was searched. She was sentenced to one year and two months in a labor camp in Jinan after being detained for 30 days.

16. [Wuchang, Hubei Province] Ms. Yan Fuxiang, Ms. Sun Youxiang, Mr. Yan and Ms. Zhang Arrested and Sent to a Brainwashing Class

The police arrested Ms. Yan Fuxiang, Ms. Sun Youxiang, Mr. Yan and Ms. Zhang and sent them to a brainwashing class in Yangyuan.

The police arrested Dafa practitioners Ms. Ma Cuiying and Ms. Chen Yunjiao on July 19, 2006, while they were distributing truth-clarification materials near the Jiaocheng Court in Ningde. Their whereabouts are unknown.

18. [Liaoyuan, Jilin Province] Twenty-Two Dafa Practitioners Arrested

Around Liaoyuan in Jilin Province about 22 practitioners were arrested between April and June 2006. Mr. Zhang Shunlong was tortured to death, and there are currently nine practitioners detained at the Liaoyuan Detention Center. More practitioners were sent to labor camps.
