(Clearwisdom.net) On September 12, 2006, Michigan State Representative Robert Gosselin wrote a letter to challenge the citizens in Michigan, the people of the United States, and the international community to pressure the Chinese Government and put a stop to the atrocities of organ harvesting from Falun Gong practitioners in China. To the Michigan and Windsor Falun Gong communities,

I support the effort of the Michigan and Windsor Falun Gong practitioners in their efforts to bring to light the practice of human organ harvesting carried out upon the Falun Gong practitioners of China.

Recently, I have called upon the members in the Michigan House of Representatives to support on-going efforts to pressure the Chinese government to stop these and other human rights abuses. Barbarity cannot be tolerated in the community of civilization nations.

The freedom of worship, freedom of association, and the dignity of the individual are rights which supersede the whim of man-made government. It is in recognizance of these universal human rights that I challenge the citizens in Michigan, the people of the United States, and the international community to pressure the Chinese government and put a stop to these atrocities.
