By a Falun Dafa practitioner from Ukraine

(Clearwisdom.net) I found a job in a bookstore. The working environment is very pleasant, and I come into contact with all kinds of customers. Whenever I have the time and whenever I have the opportunity, I always clarify the truth of Falun Dafa to the customers or give them truth clarifying materials. When I am not busy, I fold paper lotus flowers. Of course, this paper art also draws the attention of many passersby. I take the folding of the lotus flowers as a good opportunity to clarify the truth.

When the children who come to the store to buy books see the lotus flowers on the bookshelf, they ask how much each one costs. I tell them I make them specifically to give out to children. They ask me how I made them and whether I could teach them. I then pass them the flyers and tell them that in China, Falun Gong practitioners are being killed. A twelve-year-old girl hung around near me and did not want to leave. I asked her: "Do you like to sing? Let me teach you to sing a Chinese song, 'Falun Dafa is Great!'" She agreed happily. I told her that that the song was very short and that I would mark down the pronunciation of the Chinese characters in Ukrainian. "You read it first," I said. "I will test how good your memory is to see whether you can learn the song within twenty minutes." The girl was excited and practiced singing the song very attentively. She learned the tune and the words by heart within twenty minutes. When this little girl ran outside, she sang the song everywhere. I sat inside the store and I could hear her singing over and over, "Falun Dafa is great."

Afterwards I noticed that when many people accepted the lotus flower, instead of appreciating the beautiful blossom, they immediately turned the flower over and read the words I had written on the bottom. They would then ask me with surprise, "Is this true? It is too cruel! I wish you success."

Sometimes when a customer comes into the store with a very sad face, I think: "I am a Dafa practitioner, I should bring the beauty of Dafa to the people around me." I then take a lotus flower and a truth-clarifying flyer, walk up to the person and say, "I made this lotus flower, and I would like to give it to you. I would also like you to read this flyer 'Falun Dafa around the World.'" I have seen instant happiness shine from the person's face as he or she reads "Falun Dafa is great."

Sometimes when I am busy working, there are customers who come over and put a piece of chocolate or a banana on the front desk. I hardly have the chance to say thank-you before they disappear. I know they have seen the truth-clarifying materials and read the words on the lotus flowers. The local residents appreciate the lotus flowers as "amazing" and "really beautiful."

After people understand the truth, they ask, "What can I do to help?" I tell them they can sign a petition to ask for an end to the persecution." A young lady wrote: "Stop any form of confinement and killing of people's will; stop destroying people's spiritual belief and stop physical torture; I hope the government and the human rights organizations help this nation, which is full of wisdom. I wish you all the best."
