By a practitioner in Taiwan

(Clearwisdom.net) My company asked me to travel to another city to participate in a training conference. I did not want to do any work or attend any training that would add to my current job responsibilities, so I really did not want to go. I also felt that the conference would disrupt the daily truth clarification schedule I had established.

I communicated my desire to the human resources department and asked to be excused from the conference. They denied my request, so I had to go to the conference the following day. On my way home, I met two colleagues from out of town.

I instantly realized that the real reason for me to attend the conference was to make the acquaintance of these two colleagues. They called out my name the moment they saw me because I had clarified the truth to them frequently by email. We had never gotten the opportunity to meet in person, but the conference allowed us to meet and get to know each other.

In "Teaching the Fa at the Fa Conference at the U.S. Capital" (2006), Teacher said,

"People with predestined relationships and those who can be saved can be made to--made to by Master's Law Bodies, righteous gods, or the immense field that Dafa has formed in the world--appear right before you in any of a range of settings, providing them with a chance to learn the truth. But you have to carry it out, and it doesn't work if you're not out there doing things."

I realized that in various settings, Teacher would arrange for those predestined individuals to appear before us. We should not disrupt the path that Teacher has arranged. Things will not happen if they are not prearranged. My company participates in various conferences frequently, but they had never asked me to attend one before.

Since Teacher had not made the arrangement, what was manifested in human society was that my division head had never thought of sending me to a conference. In cultivation, nothing happens without a reason. We should not, therefore, try to change things around with a specific intention. In our daily lives, all that we encounter--people, things, circumstances, or being in a particular location--are prearranged to facilitate our truth clarification work. We must treasure these rare opportunities and not forsake the chance to save any sentient being.
