Ms. Chang Lijun from Taian, Shandong Province Sent to Forced Labor Camp - Her Whereabouts Now Unknown

(Clearwisdom.net) On the morning of September 6, 2005, practitioner Ms. Chang Lijun from Taian was illegally arrested by local police and taken to Shandong First Women's Labor Camp. Three months later they still hadn't "transformed" her, so the labor camp secretly moved her. Six months have passed and still there is no news about Ms. Chang, which very much worries her family, relatives, and friends.

Ms. Chang Lijun is a beautiful and gentle woman. She treats people warmly and is easygoing. On the morning of September 6, 2005, she and her husband, Yang Pinggang, were arrested by Taishan District police sub-station police officers, and their household belongings were confiscated. After being imprisoned for some time in Taian City Detention Center, Ms. Chang was again sent to Shandong First Women's Labor Camp.

To try to "brainwash" her, the guards in the labor camp didn't let Ms. Chang contact other Falun Gong practitioners or even non-practitioner detainees in the labor camp, which is equal to being imprisoned secretly. Few people in the labor camp knew that Ms. Chang Lijun was imprisoned there. She fasted to protest the persecution in the labor camp. Three months later the police hadn't achieve the goal of "transforming" her, so they secretly moved her. Her whereabouts is currently unknown.

In view of the fact that labor camps and hospitals in China collude to harvest organs from living Falun Gong practitioners for huge profits, Ms. Chang's secret transfer is worrisome. If anyone knows about her whereabouts, please provide reliable information. Also, we entreat the international community to provide help and adopt effective measures against the evil that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) perpetrates on Falun Gong, so as to end this extremely tragic persecution in China in a timely manner.

To learn more about Ms. Chang Lijun and her family, please refer to the Clearwisdom article on August 18, 2006, "The Persecution of Yang Pinggang and his Family in Tai'an City, Shandong Province." (http://www.clearwisdom.net/emh/articles/2006/8/18/76999.html)

Right now over one hundred Falun Gong practitioners are still imprisoned in Shandong First Women's Labor Camp (first and second group.) Practitioners who persist in their beliefs are imprisoned in the fifth group, which is called the "strict control group," where the persecution is more brutal.

Second group chief Niu Xuelian is very malicious, and practitioners are tortured with electric shocks even if they've already fasted for over ten days. Even the non-practitioner detainees are unable to watch, and are heard saying, "I am in my 30s, but I've never seen such a malicious woman before!"
