A rally and parade held in Montreal Chinatown support 13 million Chinese Quit the CCP

The organizer explained the purpose of the parade to be further exposing the CCP’s evil nature to the public. The CCP not only persecutes Falun Gong practitioners, but also brazenly arrested human rights lawyer Gao Zhisheng, who spoke out publicly on behalf of Falun Gong. We must step forward and stop such terrible acts. In addition, we want to help more people learn that more than 13 million Chinese people have renounced the CCP and its affiliated organizations. We believe that with people’s gradual recognition of the CCP’s wicked nature, they will see that only by truly quitting the CCP can we make the CCP meet its demise soon, and can the Chinese people be free from persecution.

Director of the Epoch Times (Montreal Branch) Ms. Hu Xiaoe said, "Today’s parade is very special. Other than congratulating the 13 million Chinese people quitting the CCP, there are two more figures that we want to focus on, Gao Zhisheng and Yuan Sheng. Renowned lawyer Gao Zhisheng once wrote to Hu Jintao and Wen Jiabao three times to strive for basic human rights for Falun Gong. As a result, he was under the CCP’s round-the-clock surveillance and harassment for eight months and was illegally arrested two weeks ago. Shanghai-based China Eastern Airline pilot Mr. Yuan Sheng was detained and interrogated by the CCP police for talking about the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party and the people quitting the CCP to an airport staff member. To avoid being persecuted after returning to China, he has to leave his job, his family and seek asylum in the United States."

Falun Gong practitioner Zhu Xueye said that supporting Yuan Sheng and supporting the 13 million people quitting the CCP are the same thing. Yuan Sheng is being persecuted for telling people about the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party and people quitting the CCP. Because of this, he cannot return to China.

Ms. Zhu said, "I feel what Yuan Sheng did is worthwhile, because it will help more people awaken to the facts."
