By a Falun Dafa practitioner in China

(Clearwisdom.net) After the persecution of Falun Gong began in 1999, my husband was frequently called in for a "talk" by his supervisor, who combined threats with enticements to convince my husband to stop me from practicing Falun Dafa.

At that time my husband's friend was a provincial level cadre who feared my husband would be punished by the work unit. His whole family visited my family in order to do "ideological work" on me, calling on me to give up practicing Falun Dafa for the sake of my husband and child. I wanted to clarify the truth to them, but they simply would not let me open my mouth. They made absolutely groundless remarks, saying that I did not appear normal. Everything they said mimicked the slanderous propaganda of the television broadcasts that defamed Dafa and Dafa disciples. I felt very helpless at that time: How could this friend have such a negative view of Dafa and me? Hadn't they formed any understandings based on my positive conduct?!

Several years passed in an instant. A month ago, I encountered my husband's friend and his whole family once again. This time they praised me from the bottoms of their hearts, complimenting me on my appearance, my clothes, my words, and deeds, as well as my overall quality. They said that, through my practice, my skin was as fine and exquisite as a child's and that I was beautiful. They also complimented me on my even temperament. They said my heart was kind, that I helped my husband and educated my child well, that everybody praised my work, and that I did everything so well. They even wanted to let their child learn Falun Gong with me.

Yesterday we sat together again, and I urged them to do the "three withdrawals." The wife, who had been a Party member for over 30 years, said immediately: "Good, quickly withdraw us. Only your practice will be able to guarantee our safety." It seemed to me that it turned out that they not only listened to the truth, they were also looking at us the whole time and that they believed the truth they saw even more.

One day I walked through my neighborhood and saw one neighbor greet another while holding a Dafa truth clarifying flyer: "Come, here is Falun Gong for you. It's written very well. I am willing to read it to you."

Seeing another person being saved by holding Dafa in high esteem, I really felt happy in my heart for his glorious future! People are really awakening.
