Toronto, Canada: Experience Sharing Conference Held for Local Practitioners (Photo)

(Clearwisdom.net) A Falun Dafa Experience Sharing Conference was held on December 23 and 29, 2006 in Toronto, Canada. More than ten practitioners shared their experience in studying the Fa, clarifying the truth and helping people quit the CCP. The practitioners took time from their busy schedules to attend the conference, acknowledging that it is helpful to encourage each other.

Ms. Huang introduced her experience of clarifying the truth and advising Chinese people to withdraw from the CCP over the phone. Initially she mainly called her acquaintances and got over two hundreds withdrawals. She did not make phone calls for quite a while after finished calling all acquaintances. One day her grandson said while pointing at her, "You cannot stay like this." She suddenly understood that Master gave her hint using her grandson’s mouth. Thus, she started to call people she never knew. Initially she was anxious and her voice quavered when she spoke.

"Phone calling is special cultivation. Before each call, I send forth righteous thoughts, doing so wholeheartedly for him or her." Ms. Huang said. "One day a man did not believe anything I said. I was anxious to cry and my voice was unsteady. He heard and said he would think it over. I said, ‘OK. For such a good thing, you also need to tell your family and friends.’ He said, ‘Call me after a while.’ Later he quit CCP and also advised others to quit. A total of ten people quit as a result."

Ms. Huang said, "So far I have advised 554 people to quit the CCP and affiliated organizations. I felt that the purer my thought, the better the effect."

Mr. Ye said, "I never thought of it even in dream. I am near seventy years old and never touched musical instruments. Now I am fortunate to be a player in Divine Land Marching Band."

Mr. Xu shared his experience selling advertising for The Epoch Times. He is the kind of person not good at communication and knew nothing about selling ads. "At beginning, I made over one hundred phone calls, but did not get any result. I was anxious since one day was wasted. I could not calm down. It was really a tribulation."

"Under the help of fellow practitioners, I persisted in the work." Said Mr. Xu, "Maybe Master saw my heart. In the first month I got contracts for more than five thousand dollars."

Mr. Xu said, "Though it is difficult to get advertisement, I did not take it as a simple work but cultivation. I think as a practitioner, once we work whole heartedly, Master will arrange the things well. Thus, each month I reach my targets and am over quota this month."
