A Fellow Practitioner in Japan

(Clearwisdom.net) I am a practitioner from Kumamoto, Japan. Every Thursday, practitioners gather at the center of Kumamoto Garden Resident Center to study Zhuan Falun from 7:00 to 9:30. Today I want to introduce Nagano, a fellow practitioner who takes part in the study with eagerness. He is 74 years old, lives in Kumamoto, and does gardening work. When he started to practice Falun Gong, he had a lot of illnesses, but now he has gotten rid of various illnesses and is beginning to gain a healthy body.

Two years ago, when Nagano first came in contact with Zhuan Falun, he held it carefully and said, "This book is not a common book, it is a treasured book. I cannot put it in a shrine carelessly." He wrapped the book with a cloth and brought it to join the study. His reverent heart towards Dafa and the Teacher impressed me so much, I cannot forget it. For the past two years, he has kept a heart of reverence towards Dafa and has continued studying the Fa more and more earnestly.

At the beginning, because the elderly man knew only a few words, he frequently pronounced the words wrong. In addition, he had difficulty hearing, which made it even harder for him. However, when other practitioners pointed out his mistakes in pronunciation, he would never rebut them and said immediately, "Oh, yes." Then he wrote down the pronunciation in his notebook carefully.

When it rains and we cannot go out, Nagano studies at home by himself. He likes to read Zhuan Falun very much, and he keeps studying and studying. If he has even a spare second or a minute, he will grab the book and read. Seeing their father studying so earnestly, his children bought a dictionary and notebook for him, which further encouraged him to study. Since he started to practice Falun Gong, he not only won the understanding of family and friends, but his family life also became more harmonious.

After having read Zhuan Falun 22 times now, Nagano hardly makes any mistakes in pronunciation. Even if he makes a mistake, he will realize it and correct it right away. When reading the book, his voice is very loud, and his face has become healthier looking.

I am blessed to have stepped into the cultivation of Dafa and assimilated to Dafa. There are many fellow practitioners like Nagano. Under their help and encouragement, I study the Fa and exercise every day and I feel fulfilled. Only if we persist in studying the Fa, will the Fa help us enlighten and improve. Tonight we will continue to study Zhuan Falun together.
