(Clearwisdom.net) On the morning of December 29, 2006, Falun Gong practitioners from Thailand gathered in front of the Chinese Embassy to protest the persecution of Falun Gong and the CCP’s organ harvesting and to support the 16 million withdrawals from the Chinese Communist Party. They were harassed by Thai police, who were under pressure from the Chinese Embassy.

At 10:00 a.m. the practitioners hung up banners in front of the Chinese Embassy that said: "Falun Dafa," "Calling for investigations into organ harvesting," and "Supporting the 16 million withdrawals from the CCP." Practitioners also sat down to send forth righteous thoughts. Twenty minutes later, two plainclothes police officers came to the activity. They took photos of practitioners, took down the banners, and told the practitioners not to demonstrate in front of the Chinese Embassy; otherwise, they would be arrested.
On January 4, 2007, practitioners went to the Department of National Security to clarify the truth. One officer told them, "We didn’t want to interfere with you, but the CCP was not happy, and they exerted pressure. We are being pressured by our superiors, so we didn’t have any choice."
In December 2006, the CCP exerted pressure on Thai police to cancel Falun Gong practitioners’ performance at the gala for the Thai King’s birthday celebration. This was the second instance of interference by the CCP in one month. Falun Gong practitioners strongly condemn the CCP's extension of their violent policies to Thailand and their violation of Falun Gong practitioners’ human rights. They hope that the Thai police will stand on the side of righteousness and make the right choice.
