The Difference Between Humans and the Divine

(Clearwisdom.net) For some time, I have been thinking about writing out my cultivation experience to share with fellow practitioners. Since I didn’t do well as a cultivator, I felt I did not have too much to write about. I continued to procrastinate until I read the article, "Have You Done Your Homework?" (http://www.clearwisdom.net/emh/articles/2006/11/1/79526.html). I realized that as long as I cultivate the universal law, the Fa, I will continue to have some personal feelings and understandings. After all, we are all walking on the path to divinity.

Until recently, I was without strong righteous thoughts, and I was fearful when faced with persecution. Only through studying the Fa diligently and sharing my experiences with fellow practitioners have I been able to make a breakthrough in the situation.

The Fa-rectification is in its final stage, and the evil forces are greatly diminished. Practitioners have matured; so what kind of state should we be in? Naturally, the answer is: "Human form, Divine intention." It is time we got rid of our human notions!

In the past when I was threatened with persecution, the evil felt so formidable and each difficulty was like an insurmountable mountain. Because of this fear, I took the wrong path. Teacher did not give up on me and continued to look after me with great mercy even though I was a disappointing disciple. Teacher has repeatedly told us to, "Study the Fa, study the Fa, study the Fa." I respectfully followed teacher’s instruction, and studied the Fa diligently. I also read what fellow practitioners were sharing about in their experience reports and began to gain a new understanding about the differences between humans and gods.

Teacher said in "Distinction Between Human and Enlightened Beings" ("Hong Yin," Translation Version B):

What can a person who is full of sentiments and desires accomplish? I realized that the evil can only threaten and persecute ordinary people and practitioners who have strong attachments and hold no righteous thoughts. Evil is powerless in the face of practitioners who hold rock solid faith in Teacher and the Fa, and to practitioners who conduct themselves with righteous thoughts and actions! Teacher had already pushed us to a very advanced position by July 20, 1999, when the persecution began. During the last few years of practice, we should have attained the state of "Human form, Divine intention." To reach this state, we must do the three things well and cultivate well. Otherwise, the effect of our clarifying the truth and sending forth righteous thoughts will not be good. We can realize consummation as long as we harmonize with Dafa, encourage each other, coordinate well among all practitioners, and walk the path arranged by our Teacher, from humanity to divinity.
