New Crimes Committed by the 610 Office of Zhuhai City, Guangdong Province

(Clearwisdom.net) Practitioner Ms. He Xueping was illegally arrested on November 1, 2006. On November 20, 2006 she was sentenced to forced labor for one year. She is being currently being detained and tortured in the Sanshui Forced Labor Camp.

Practitioner Ms. Wang Xiaoyuan from the Dou District, Zhuhai City, Guangdong Province, has been missing since December 20, 2006. It was later learned that the 610 Office arrested her and is detaining her in the Dou District Detention Center. She is the second practitioner who has been arrested in November 2006 from the Dou District and she is currently being detained in the Sanshui Forced Labor Camp.

Ms. Wang was arrested before on December 14, 2000, and detained for nine days. On February 5, 2001, she was detained in a brainwashing class held in the Dou District. On March 19, 2001, she was taken to the Dou District Detention Center. On April 26, 2001, she was sentenced to forced labor for one year and detained in the Sanshui Forced Labor Camp. On February 10, 2002, officials from the 610 Office, along with local police, arrested her again and detained her in the Mingfu Brainwashing Center of Zhuhai City for over two years. During this detention police officers tortured her by giving her unknown drugs.

Currently, there are at least twenty practitioners from the Dou District detained in forced labor camps or brainwashing centers. Since February 2006, more than five practitioners have been detained.
