1. [Jilin Province] Personnel from the Jiutai Forced Labor Camp Beat Falun Dafa Practitioner Wang Tongchun in 2005

Practitioner Mr. Wang Tongchun's family went to the Jiutai Forced Labor Camp on January 4, 2007 trying visit him, but camp personnel refused their request solely because Wang Tongchun persist in his belief of Falun Gong.

Wang Tongchun's family member noticed Wang Tongchun was missing a front tooth when visiting him in June 2005. They later found out that camp policeman Gao Ke had knocked the tooth out while beating Mr. Wang.

2. [Panjin City, Liaoning Province] Persecution Account of Practitioner Xu Shoucheng and Other Information

Practitioner Mr. Xu Shoucheng has been held at the Panjin City's Detention Center and has not been released to date. Zhao Lide, the Xinxing Police Station chief in Dawa County, continues to persecute him further.

Practitioner Ms. Sun Fengzhi was released a few days ago. Another woman practitioner decided to leave home and live in exile, to avoid persecution and possible arrest. Practitioner Ms. Zhang Suqing is being held at the Panjin City Detention Center, and her home was ransacked.

3. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Jin Dewei Suffers Torture in the Fushun City Prison - 2002 information

Practitioner Mr. Jin Dewei from Shenyang City, around 30 years old, was recently transferred to Fushun City's No. 2 Prison. Severe torture had left him unable to walk. Personnel from the Gaoxing District Court, Shenyang City sentenced Jin Dewei to 14 years of imprisonment in 2002.

4. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Supplemental Information Regarding the Arrest of Practitioners Jin Chengshan and Jiao Xiaohua

Police arrested practitioner couple Mr. Jin Chengshan and Ms. Jiao Xiaohua around dinner-time on December 22, 2006. Mr. Jin had been a paraplegic as a result of a car accident prior to beginning Falun Gong practice. Ms. Jiao Xiaohua was forbidden to put on a coat or jacket when arrested. The police used a car from the "120" team (emergency number in China) because they feared people would see them. Jin Chengshan and practitioner Cui Xin are being held at the Harbin City Police Hospital. Ms. Jiao Xiaohua is being held at the Harbin City Detention Center.

Practitioner Mr. Cui Xin was arrested at the same time.

A collusion between the chief of the Luohe City Minzhu Road Business Administration and more than ten officers from the Political and Security Section of the Yuanhui District Police Department led to the arrest of practitioner Mr. Wan Xuezhi at his home at 10:00 a.m. on January 6, 2007. Mr. Wan has not yet been released.

Police arrested practitioner Mr. Wang Genxiang from his home on January 6, 2007.

Police arrested practitioner Mr. Bai Guoqiang and ransacked his home on January 4, 2007. He has not yet been released.

7. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Persecution of Practitioners at the Baoding City Detention Center

Practitioner Mr. Yang Jianliang, 40 years old, from Baoding City, Hebei Province, was immobilized day and night on to a hard board with his four limbs tied separately, making bowel and bladder release awkward.

Police forbade confined practitioner Mr. Song Zhiqiang, about 64 years old from Chengde City, Hebei Province to shut the window during late nights in February last year. Mr. Song's feet were swollen, probably from the cold.

Police divided several collaborators into three groups with two in each and ordered them to monitor practitioners in eight-hour shifts. They prevented practitioners from napping or sleeping. If a practitioner fell asleep, they poured cold water on them.

Practitioners held at the No. 2 Division were made to work daily until 9:00 p.m.

10. [Shanghai] Practitioner Guan Longmei To Be Sentenced

Practitioner Ms. Guan Longmei, 55 years old, from the Hongkou District in Shanghai, is going to be on a trial at the district court on January 11, 2007.

Approximately a dozen police officers had illegally arrested her from her home and had held her in the district's detention center on June 3, 2006. Ms. Guan has been on a hunger strike for a long time. Her esophagus was severely injured when she was brutally force-fed.

It is known that Fan Ruiqin and Gao Fengyin and another practitioner from the Beijing area have been arrested between June and October 2006. Their neighbors, hired by agents from the 610 Office, reported them. The 610 Office paid an informer 5,000 yuan for reporting a practitioner.

12. [Baoji City, Shaanxi Province] Practitioner Zhang Yaorong Sentenced to More than Seven Years of Imprisonment

Personnel from the Jintai District Police Department arrested practitioner Mr. Zhang Yaorong from Baoji City, Shaanxi Province on October 14, 2005. He was detained on a criminal charge on October 23, 2005. After 37 days of unlawful detention, the police relocated him on November 28, 2005. His family was forbidden from visiting him. Mr. Zhang was officially held on a criminal charge on January 20, 2006, and an arrest warrant was issued on February 27, 2006.

Mr. Zhang was secretly sentenced to more than seven years in prison on June 20, 2006 and transferred to the Weinan Prison in Shaanxi Province.

13. [Hanzhong City, Shaanxi Province] Practitioners Du Shuqin and Wang Caifeng Arrested

Practitioners Ms. Du Shuhui and Ms. Wang Caifeng from Mian County, Hanzhong City went to Zhenchuan Town to distribute truth-clarification materials on December 11, 2006, but personnel from the town police station arrested them and ransacked their homes. They have been held in the Mian County Detention Center since December 12. Ms. Du could not control her shaking head, which resulted from the torture at the Xi'an City Women Forced Labor Camp when she was held there from 2001 to 2003. She had a headache, cold, and nausea all the time and pain all over. She could not drink fluids until December 20, 2006. Policewoman Zhang Xia not only forbade Ms. Du from seeing a doctor but abused her. The police force-fed Ms. Du whenever she had no appetite.

16. [Chongqing] Practitioner Xu Yingpei and Her Husband Arrested

When practitioner Ms. Xu Yingpei and her husband took a walk along Yangjiaping Street in the Jiulongpo District on the afternoon of January 6, 2007, several agents from the National Security Division arrested them. According to reliable sources, they have been sent to a brainwashing center on the border between Yubei District and Beibei District.

Local police arrested seven practitioners from Yuxi City recently for distributing truth-clarification materials. Three of them escaped after their handcuffs were broken; however, they decided to remain away from home in order to avoid illegal arrest. The remaining four practitioners are still being held.

Practitioner Ms. Li Qun from Guiyang City went to visit her relatives in Shanghai. She was arrested when clarifying the truth to passers-by.

Practitioner Ms. Niu Chuanmei, over 60 years old, lives in the Baiyun District, Guangzhou City. When she was distributing truth-clarifying materials on December 6, 2006, security guards in Tongde Street arrested her and sent her to the Tongde Police Station. People at the station colluded with personnel from the street administration office, ten or more people, and broke into Ms. Niu's house at night. They confiscated all Dafa books and materials. They then held Ms. Niu at the Baiyun Detention Center for five days. She was released on bail because she showed symptoms of high blood pressure.

The Baiyun District prosecutor sued Ms. Niu Chuanmei on December 25, 2006.
