Ms. Tan Haiyan, a Falun Dafa practitioner from Panzhihua City, was "illegally sentenced" to six years in jail and was sent to Yichuanxi Women's Prison in Longquan County, Chengdou City.

Mr. Liu Liang and his mother, Ms. Zhuang Xiujuan, are both Falun Dafa practitioners from Jiaozhou City. They were illegally arrested by police from the 610 Office and from the Zhangying Police Station in Jioazhou City while at work at about 10 a.m. on December 26, 2006. They are now detained at the custodial station in Jiaozhou City.

Ms. Gu Aiyu, a Falun Dafa practitioner from Weifang City, was arrested on December 28, 2006, and sentenced to three years in a forced labor camp. She was sent to the Wangcun Forced Labor camp, where she was persecuted.

On December 24, 2006, police from Gan Nanzhou Area arrested practitioners Mr. Yu Yuan and Ms. Ji Yueling. They raided their homes and confiscated copies of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party.

At the end of November 2006, officials from the Party Politics and Law Committee in Kaifeng City, Henan Province, and from the 610 Office arrested five practitioners. From November 29, 2006, to December 15, 2006, they held brainwashing sessions in the Changcheng Building in Zhengzhou City, previously the training base for the 610 Office in Henan Province. Every practitioner there was watched over by two people sent in by his or her work unit. They didn't allow practitioners to talk to each other or to contact each other. They threatened practitioners with being sentenced to forced labor camp or prison if they were not "reformed."

Practitioners Mr. Fan Jianguo and Mr. Shen Xiangjun from the Zhichuan District of Zhibo City were arrested in December 2006 and sent to the custodial station in Zhibo City. On December 15, 2006, police were authorized to arrest Mr. Fan Jianguo, and they transferred Mr. Shen Xiangjun to the Law Education Center, also known as the 610 Office Brainwashing Center.

Sixty-year-old practitioner Ms. Qu Cuihua from the Moping District, Yantai City, was arrested when she was clarifying the truth of Falun Gong to people, and she was sent to a detention center. Her son was extorted out of 2,000 yuan. On December 29, 2006, Ms. Qu was arrested again by plainclothes police when she was clarifying the truth in Daji Area of Moping District.

On December 31, 2006, Mr. Yang Beicheng was arrested when he was at the intersection near Qiaotou Park in Guanhan City.

The Maonan Distict Court in Maoming City sentenced Ms. Liang Jinchun to seven years and Ms. Liao Chengbin to six years in jail. Ms. Liang made an appeal and submitted her appeal letter on November 29, 2006. The Intermediate Court in Maoming City held the second trial of Ms. Liang and Ms. Miao on December 27. The court upheld the original sentences.
