City of Conway, South Carolina, proclaimed the month of December 2006 as Falun
Dafa Month.

Observing December 2006
as
Falun Dafa Month
WHEREAS, Falun Dafa, also known as Falun Gong, is an ancient Chinese
qigong practice that improves both mind and body through gentle exercises and
meditations performed to peaceful music, and
WHEREAS, Falun Dafa teaches practitioners to search for their true nature
by incorporating into their daily lives the universal principles of
truthfulness, compassion, and forbearance, and
WHEREAS, Falun Dafa has improved the health and quality of life for over
100 million people in 70 countries, and
WHEREAS, all Falun Dafa activities, including teaching and practice, are
offered to the public free of charge by volunteers.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, Gregory K. Martin, Mayor of the City of Conway, South
Carolina, do hereby Proclaim
DECEMBER 2006
as
FALUN DAFA MONTH
IN THE CITY OF CONWAY
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the
