(Clearwisdom.net) NTDTV's 2007 Global Chinese New Year Spectacular show is the fourth of such shows since 2004. NTDTV has brought this show every year to the world's people at the beginning of each year.

Sadly to say, the representatives of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) in foreign countries have not ceased to interfere with the production and presentation of NTDTV's Chinese New Year Spectacular. The CCP's emissaries have used a number of tactics to stop the productions, including threats or bribing of performers and sponsors throughout the world. This year, because of CCP pressure tactics, including threats and inducements, the South Korean government buckled under and forced the National Theater of Korea in Seoul, where the show was supposed to open on January 6th, to be in violation of its contract with NTDTV. They canceled the show three days before the opening date. This action resulted in strong condemnation by the Korean media, as well as created negative international sentiment.

What is it that the CCP fears about NTDTV? NTDTV has from its inception exposed the depravity of the CCP, including the continued suppression of human rights, freedom of speech and freedom of belief. Also, NTDTV has exposed the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong, which angered CCP officials.

NTDTV's Chinese New Year shows have become increasingly popular, despite the CCP's efforts to suppress and interfere with it. In 2004, the show was shown around the globe in five cities, in 2005 in seven cities, in 2006 in seventeen cities and in 2007 it is being shown in close to thirty cities. It was shown in well-known theaters, including the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C., Radio City Music Hall in New York, and the Kodak Theater in Los Angeles. Additionally, the 2006 NTDTV's Christmas show, "Holiday Wonders," brought out for the first time, gave nine performances on New York's Broadway and was highly praised by the media and audience. Showing traditional Chinese culture on one of the most famous stages in the world is a grand occasion and to be treasured by all Chinese people worldwide.

With "Myths and Legends" as its theme, the NTDTV Chinese New Year Spectacular brings to the world's people traditional Chinese culture as its best. Westerners highly praised the shows and Chinese people feel deep pride.

Yet, the CCP goes the opposite way, tries to obliterate it from the world's stage and puts itself in a position that goes against traditional Chinese culture.

The world stage is not made for the evil CCP. NTDTV began the the recovery of the legitimate Chinese culture with its more than 5,000 years of tradition. It cuts out the malignant tumor that the CCP brought to the Chinese nation.

Whether the CCP expected this or not, it is history's choice and the CCP does not have the power to stop it, no matter what methods it uses.
