Practitioner Mr. Sun Shiwei from Muleng City was sentenced to eight years of imprisonment and isbeing persecuted in the No. 3 Ward, Release Section, Jiamusi City Prison. He has been on a hunger strike for six days to protest his treatment. He told his family members through the phone when they came to visit him that prison personnel beat him. The officials then disconnected the speaker phone.

3. [Shandong Province] Persecution of Practitioner Ms. Zhou Yingchun and Others
Police from the Jinzhou City Railway Bureau arrested four practitioners for clarifying the truth of Falun Gong to people on a train. The arrested practitioners are: Ms. Wang Yingwei, Ms. Li Guang, Ms. Li Xiaoyan, and Ms. Zhou Yingchun. Below are details relating to the four practitioners.
Ms. Li Xiaoyan and Ms. Li Guang were sentenced to one-and-a-half years and two years, respectively, to be served at Shandong Province’s No. 1 Women’s Forced Labor Camp. Ms. Zhou Yingchun is being held at the Jinan City No. 1 People’s Hospital. She is on a hunger strike to protest the "illegal detention."
The four practitioners staged hunger strikes in protest after being arrested and were sent to the Jinan City’s No. 1 People’s Hospital for force-feeding. Li Xiaoyan and Li Guang were forced to eat. Ms. Zhou has so far continued her hunger strike and is still being tortured in the hospital.
4. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Supplemental Information Regarding the Arrest of Several Practitioners
Several practitioners from Yixian County, Jinzhou City, went to the countryside to distribute copies of the "Nine Commentaries on Communist Party" on the evening of January 12, 2007. Personnel from the Xishan District Police Department found them at a roadblock when inspecting vehicles. Chen Jixiang, police department deputy head, led some officers and sent the practitioners to the Xishan District Police Department. Four practitioners managed to escape that same night. The driver, a non-practitioner, and the van are being held at the Yixian County Detention Center.

Practitioner Mr. Cai Rong was arrested when visiting deceased practitioner Mr. Liang Weiqi’s home the evening of January 10, 2007. Ms. Bi Guiying, Liang Weiqi's daughter who accompanied him, was also arrested. They are being held at a detention center right now.
6. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Personnel of the No. 1 Prison Put Practitioner Mr. Zhang Huiqiang in Solitary Confinement
Practitioner Mr. Zhang Huiqiang was held at the No. 2 Ward, Shenyang City's No. 1 Prison. He was put in solitary confinement on December 29, 2006, because prison personnel found an MP3 player in his cell that had Master’s lectures and Falun Dafa books in it. He has not been released.

8. [Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province] Practitioner Ms. Guo Liwei Sentenced to Two and a Half Years of Imprisonment
Practitioner Ms. Guo Liwei from Acheng City, Heilongjiang Province, was distributing truth-clarifying materials in August 2006 when a surveillance camera installed in the residential community recorded her. Personnel from the Ningbo City Police Department arrested her and put her in the Haishu District Detention Center in the city.
The district court agents sentenced her to six months of imprisonment on November 20, 2006. Right before her release the court reported her case to the city court. Ningbo City Court agents held a trial and sentenced her to two and a half years of imprisonment on January 5, 2007.

Liu Youda, the Erdaojiang District Wudaojiang District chief in Tonghua City, along with Yang Tongchun, Wudao Village head, and others to practitioner Mr. Xu Qingshan’s home at 7:00 p.m. on January 12, 2007. They arrested Mr. Xu and his wife, a non-practitioner, when the couple was having dinner. The wife was released because of the onset of her heart disease. The husband is still being held at the Changliu Detention Center.

Zhu Dechun and He Jianxin, Chaoyanggou Forced Labor Camp No.2 Division chief and deputy chief, ordered Jin Wenge to lock up practitioner Ms. Yang Jun from Yitong County in a small compartment. Ms. Yang’s hands and feet were handcuffed and shackled to both sides of a metal cage. Criminal inmates monitored her around the clock and did not permit her to sleep.

Practitioner Mr. Kong Lingjin from Boli County was sentenced in April 2006. He is at the Shuihua City Forced Labor Camp and is exhibiting disease symptoms. His family requested his release, but their request was denied.

13. [Heilongjiang Province] Practitioners Tortured at the Wanjia Forced Labor Camp
Practitioners held at the Wanjia Forced Labor Camp were often hung up, forced to squat for a long time, and tortured with electric batons, the iron chair or handcuffs. Practitioners were forced to write the so-called three statements. Practitioner Mr. Li Wenjun refused, so the guards denied permission for him to meet with his family at the regular visiting time. The guards forced practitioners’ families to step on Master’s picture, curse Dafa and Master; otherwise, their visits would be denied.
14. [Tianjin] Exposing Vicious Acts at Gangbei Prison—2000 Information
Personnel at the Wuqing Police Station sentenced practitioner Mr. Liu Wenliang to ten years of imprisonment in 2000. He has been held in Gangbei Prison in Tianjin for over six years. Liu’s practitioner mother traveled to see him in the prison a few years ago, but she was not admitted. She eventually established some connections and spoke with her son by monitored prison telephone. Police stopped their conversation after they heard something [they did not like] and pushed her out.
Early this year, the prison authorities had people drive Mr. Liu’s ex-wife’s home and try to get her to remarry. Their intention is still to use his ex-wife to get Mr. Liu to give up Falun Gong practice.
The prison authorities put determined practitioners into small compartments for torture. Several criminal inmates are assigned to monitor each practitioner, even when the practitioner’s family visits him. Practitioners are made to work daily for over 12 hours. Many practitioners were held in a small room.

They confiscated a large amount of truth clarification materials, a computer, and some other equipment. As Ms. Chen was being arrested, her son went outside and shouted "Falun Dafa is good!" The police arrested him as well and detained him for a day. Ms. Chen was held at a local detention center for 15 days and has been released. Practitioners who escaped with the power of righteous thoughts: Ms. Zhong Ping, Mr. Jin Xingwang, and Ms. Lin Lixia.

Ms. Xue Aifu was detained at the Sanshui Forced Labor Camp in 2003 and was on a hunger strike during her detention. Her term expired recently. She was transferred to the Xili Brainwashing Center.

Practitioner Mr. Luo Libin was arrested on January 12, 2007. Practitioner Ms. Zhang Yan's nephew went to Ms. Zhang Yan's home in Meishan City that same night. She found that Zhang Yan, her husband Mr. Wang, and their six-year-old daughter were not at home, but their house had been ransacked. Their computer was missing. It is unknown what items were confiscated.
Practitioner Ms. Zhang Menglin disappeared that same day. Her whereabouts are so far unknown. Practitioner Mr. Liu Fuming and his mother-in-law's house have been searched. Practitioner Mr. Zhou Mingchun's house has been searched, but the police found nothing. Mr. Zhou Mingchun was ordered to go to the police precinct and has now been released.

Buyunqiao Town 610 Office head Zhou Wusheng in Qidong County, Hengyang City, and Chen Yunhua, the town's police chief, led some policemen to break into practitioner Ms. Tan Cuixiu's house on January 4, 2007. They confiscated some Dafa books and truth-clarifying materials. Afterwards they broke into practitioner Ms. Zeng Xiuqing's home and confiscated some books. Later on they went to practitioner Mr. Luo Xiaoxian's home. He was not at home and the door was locked. The policemen pried open the door, broke into the house, and confiscated some Dafa books.
