Crimes Committed by Officers from the Caitun Police Station in Benxi City, Liaoning Province

(Clearwisdom.net) Since July 1999, the Caitun Police Station in Benxi City has closely followed Jiang Zemin's regime in spearheading the persecution of Falun Gong. For the past seven years, those practitioners who went to Beijing to tell people the facts about the persecution have been targeted by officers from the Caitun Police Station for intense persecution. Regardless of the time of day, officers knock on practitioners' doors. They force their way in and demand that the practitioners write guarantee statements for quitting Falun Gong, collect fingerprints and handwriting samples, and otherwise threaten and harass the practitioners.

Practitioner Mr. Zhang Lianxiang, in his 60s, had suffered from diabetes. He was cured after practicing Falun Gong. However, Mr. Zhang died in 2005 after extensive persecution from the police.

Practitioner Ms. Zhang Cuizhi, in her 60s, was a retired teacher from the Metal Smelting Professional School. After practicing Falun Gong, she was as energetic as a young woman. She died as a result of persecution by the Caitun Police Station.

Mr. Zhou Zhi, 38, was arrested from his home for practicing Falun Gong and later died as a result of the terrible abuse at the police's hands. He is survived by his wife and young child.

In recent years, over a dozen practitioners have been arrested and subjected to persecution by the Caitun Police Station, turning their and their family's lives upside down.

Telephone number of the Caitun Police Station: 86-414-5893553
