Strike to Protest Persecution Practitioner Ms. Lu Xianming has been on a hunger strike to protest her
illegal arrest and persecution. On November 20, 2006, Guangzhou
Qiewan District Court summoned her for sentencing, but she was too weak to
attend, and it had to be canceled. She is still on a hunger strike. 2. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Practitioner Ms. Zang Illegally Arrested

police because she believes in Falun Gong. She was arrested and taken to Dalian

Severely Persecuting Falun Gong Practitioners 8. [Beijing] Practitioner Mr. Zhang Dongjun Facing Imprisonment Beijing Changping practitioner Mr. Zhang Dongjun was sentenced to two years
at a forced labor camp. Within the past two months, he was arrested and taken to
Changping Brainwashing Center. He faces imprisonment. His wife, Ms. Li Jie, is
now being detained at the Changping Brainwashing Center. 9. [Beijing] Mr. Yang Ruiwen Taken Away from Home by Police Dahuashang Village of Beijing, the Pinggu District, practitioner Mr. Yang
Ruiwen was taken away by the police. His sisters, Yang Ruiping and Yang Xiaofeng,
were detained in 2005. They still haven't been released. Recently, four or five practitioners in Liujiadian and Yandong Villages in

Dongjun, and Zhang Dongjun's wife, were arrested and taken to a brainwashing
center. Ms. Wen and Mr. Zhang were sentenced to forced labor. 11. [Shanghai City] Practitioner Ms. Gao Qiongzhi Arrested Jiangxi practitioner Ms. Gao Qiongzhi worked in Shanghai when she went
missing, and it has now been confirmed that she was arrested and taken to
Shanghai Qingpu Police Department School Brainwashing Center. 12. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Practitioners in Shenyang City
Sentenced to Forced Labor Practitioner Mr. Li Hongwwi, 43, was detained in a forced labor camp for one
year. He is currently being detained in Shenxin Forced Labor Camp. His wife has
been laid off. They have a 12-year-old boy, and their lives are very harsh. Practitioners Ms. Wang Yanjie and Ms. Li Yang were both sentenced to Masanjia
Forced Labor Camp for one year. Practitioner Ms. Shi Geng was held in the Fifth Detention Department of
Shenyang City. She is now facing imprisonment. 13. [Jinan City, Shangdong Province] Practitioner Mr. Zang Xiyong Arrested
and His Home Searched On December 9, 2006, Mr. Zang Xiyong, a staff member at the Shandong Cotton
Company, was arrested and held at the Licheng District Detention Center. On the
afternoon of December 13, his his company advisor led a large group
of police to arrest him and illegally search his home. They took away his
computer and other personal items. 14. [Dezhou City, Shangdong Province] Practitioners Mr. Zhang Jiyun and
Others Missing after Being Arrested On December 7-8, 2006, Dezhou City, Pinyuan Town, practitioners Mr. Zhang
Jiyun, Ms. Can Xiaoyan, and Mr. Li Shulong were detained by Pingyuan Town police
officers, including officer Li Changzhong. Their whereabouts are currently
unknown. At the same time other practitioners in the same village were forced to
leave home to avoid persecution. 15. [Haiyang City, Shandong Province] Practitioner Ms. Liu Fumei Arrested In late November 2006, Haiyang 610 Office agents arrested
practitioner Ms. Liu Fumei and sentenced her to forced labor. 16. [Shandong Province] Jinan Prison Police Officers Refuse to Let
Practitioner Mr. Wang Chenglin's Relatives Visit Him Shandong Qingdao practitioner Mr. Wang Chenglin was sentenced and detained in
Jinan Prison in Shandong Province. On October 19, 2006, guards refused to allow
his sisters and his older brother to visit him. 17. [Qingyuan Town, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Ms. Lu Shufen Detained At 4:00 a.m. on December 7, 2006, Hongtoushang Village of Qingyuan Town
practitioner Ms. Lu Shufen sent truth clarifying materials to Cangshi Village.
She was followed by Cangshi Village police and arrested. She is now being held
in Qingyuan Detention Center. 18. [Cangzhou City, Hebei Province] Practitioner Mr. Li Yansong and His Wife
Arrested by National Security Agents On the afternoon of December 6, 2006, Cangzhou National Security spies, in
collusion with Qing Town 610 Office agents, broke into and searched practitioner
Mr. Li Yansong's home and took away his computer. According his neighbor, more
than 20 people went into Mr. Li's home and took away ten thousand yuan
in cash and other personal items. Mr. Li was persecuted and lost his job. He was
later finally able to run his medicine business on line. With no regard for Mr.
Li's mother, who requires constant care, or his child, who is still a junior
student, they arrested Mr. Li Yansong and his wife, Ms. Han Hua. 19. [Jianping, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Ms. Chu Lijun and Her Mother,
Ms. Li Shuhua, Arrested At 4:00 p.m. on the afternoon of December 14, 2006, Ms. Chu Lijun, who is a
staff member at the Jianping Town Transit Company, and her mother, Ms. Li Shuhua,
sent out truth clarifying materials. The police arrested them. They are now
being held in Jianping Town No. Two Detention Center. 20. [Dangshan, Hebei Province] Practitioners Mr. Chuai Cuijun and Mr. Chen
Baihe Face Court Sentencing On December 14, 2006, the Dangshan Qianxi Town Court informed Mr. Chuai and
Mr. Chen's families that they would sentence Chuai Cuijun and Chen Baihe on
December 18. 21. [Pingjiang, Hunan Province] Practitioners Ms. Wang Renxifang and Ms. Tang
Gemei Arrested On December 14, 2006, Hunan Pingjiang practitioners Ms. Wang Renxiang and Ms.
Tang Gemei sent truth clarifying materials to the area between Pingjiang and
Yueyang. They were reported and then arrested by local policemen and sent to
Yueyang Detention Center for persecution. 22. [Changsha City, Hunan Province] Practitioner Ms. Zhou Runlin Sentenced to
Three Years On December 11, 2006, Changsha practitioner Ms. Zhou Runlin was sentenced to
three years at Hunan Province Women's Prison, where she faces further
persecution. It has now been learned that four other practitioners were sentenced on
December 12. 23. [Leshan, Sichuan Province] Practitioner Ms. Shang Zhenyue Arrested On the afternoon of December 7, 2006, four or five policemen broke into
practitioner Ms. Shang Zhenyue's home without a warrant. They searched her home
with Wutongyangliu Village Secretary Liang Hongbei's help. They broke locks and
stole the family's property. They took away many Dafa books and truth clarifying
materials. When they took her to the police station, they showed their detention
card. Her husband, a fellow practitioner, was off from work and saw them arrest
his wife and tried to stop them. They threatened him, saying they would sue him
for hindrance of official business. Ms. Shang is now being held in Leshan

Textbook Entitled Personal Character And Society That Slanders Falun Gong 26. [Hubei Province] Many Practitioners Detained in Qinduankon Prison Hubei Qinduankou Prison is equipped with several jails. Many practitioners
are now being detained there, including Mr. Xu Jianjun, who was sentenced to 13
years, Mr. Shilei to 9 years, and Mr. Liu Shuishen to 9 years. December 16, 2006
